  1. Hello all, managed to pick up an early Britains Muck Spreader from a car boot today with the bonus of having the original belt on it. It has already started to go the way they usually do, in perishing. Has anyone an idea as to how i might slow or stop this process other than keeping it out of sunlight etc., and using anti ageing cream from the wife's collection!!! Andy
  2. Sentry Farmings Claas Xerion was busting up Rape stubble...... those things make some sort of racket
  3. I see the workshop residents are both Fords.........hmmmm.....Fix Or Repair Daily springs to mind. Sorry couldn't resist. Great set-up by the way.
  4. Here is the closest picture i have at the mo - the draw bar is linked to the drill body via ram which lifts up the front part of the drill. If you want more photos i have access to 6 or 8m rapids tine or system disc. Andy
  5. I am sure your models are plenty gentle enough - they sure look the part. They are probably very reliable!
  6. Whats 'cropped' that is how i took the photo - i am no expert, more luck than judgement!!! Ploeger did buy FMC hence PMC and yes FP they are very good machines well built and easy to set up maintain etc. which is a good job because the one Ploeger that we do have is regularly being maintained!!! The other major reason for us not going for the green and yellow is that they are two harsh on the peas - a lot of damage. FMC/PMC are very gentle on young peas, which is the quality that we are after. That R reg photo looks like our old machines do, once we have finished with them they are cut up. The new PMCs have a Claas cab and auger system as developed by our engineers also auto inflate/deflate tyre systems amongst other minor upgrades.
  7. Now i know how to do these pohots here is one of the PMC side on
  8. These are three of our viners at work the other morning - 5am when i start work!!! The two FMCs are being replaced at the end of this season with two more PMCs like the one in the backgound. Hope it is of interest, Andy
  9. The earliest date i know of is 1987 until 2003 - though dont take it for gospel!
  10. Would suggest ?10-?15 tops. Not that uncommon apart from early boxes.
  11. Too right and also remember that they often only take cash rather than my favourite plastice friend!!!!
  12. Quick question - how many have been made or indeed have they finished making them - reason being some were in the JD dealer i know when they first came out then recently when i went in they had another batch?
  13. Good job it isnt my interest eh? besides that combine would be far too big for my cabinet!!! The bill would be far too big for the wife too!!!!!!
  14. Havent spent much time looking around but the set is just over ?40 - not bad i thought seeing as you can spend nearly ?30 for a quantum in a rebular box.
  15. Pop down to your local Claas dealer where for the price elsewhere of just a quantum in dealer box you can get the set with the tractor also in a dealer box........
  16. Not my interest really, but stopped by my local Claas dealer today and they had plenty of the First Edition Lexion 600 combines (7000 made) in the special boxes and also still available is the Ares 697 and Rollant set (3000 made) the prices seem reasonable too!
  17. Probably Farmmodels have moved a few on!!!!
  18. I have come about two ROS tractors mint in boxes one is a Landini 10000S and the other is a Heston 80-90 with duals, does anyone have any idea what they are worth?? Cheers, Andy
  19. Just having found enough room in my garage, i am going to try and find the time to do a few conversions, etc. Being completely green i would like a bit of help. The best way to dissmantle models - castings and plastic joins. and the best way to put them back together without it looking like a crock of cack!!! Thanks, Andy
  20. Try the German or Dutch sites eg www.toyfarmer.de I have seen it available on one or other of these.
  21. After a bit of looking around my local dealer is 5 mins down the road - bonus!! I would say that is the best place to get your McCormicks - especially if like me you want them in OEM boxes. The MC 115 has arrived also at dealers. Remember that some JCB dealers also have McCormick as a dual brand. Fendt and Massey tend to go together as do Valtra and Fendt some times. Andy
  22. How rare is this and what would it be worth - ive seen/heard of the Fastrac and 1CX but not this one before??? Cheers Andy
  23. Thanks all, will have to see if my local dealer has any. Cheers, Andy
  24. Does anyone have this as i have seen nothing anywhere inc. UH web site to say that it is about?
  25. Will see what i can do over the next week or two. Andy
