  1. Love seeing how everyone is modding stuff, it's as I'd envisaged at the start that I merely provide the first building block and people can then adapt and improve them as and how they please. Great to see
  2. Hopefully shows what's going on. These have alot less supports, being round you only need supports at the very bottom as the model gradually steps out and back on, no sharp undercuts. You can see in the first photo dimples on each wheel, this is uncured resin that we are washing off in the first video, second video shows how by using hot water the model pushes off its supports. These models are arguably over supported hence abit of force needed, using the splicers standard settings they'd simply fall off with some hot water. VID20231202093700.mp4 VID20231202093744.mp4
  3. The supports themself aren't soluble Joe, it's just the uncured resin sat on the part that you are washing off. The supports break off as they narrow down to a fine point where they meet the part. By using hot water the resin gets a little bit of flex and you can simply push the finished piece off the supports. This avoids snapping parts like Sean's experienced. Will grab some photos tomorrow to explain. Looking good so far Sean, you'll be surprised at the detail you get, I should think everything will carry over on a correctly scaled version. 0.7mm wide x 0.3mm high nuts print perfectly on my Elegoo.
  4. Awesome Mark, nothing wrong with the paint finish on them! Love the staining on the flat bed
  5. Loving the way you've incorperated the rocking beam Sean. I was saying to Zac at Carlisle that I still can't get a twin axle to look right on the computer! That looks spot on though
  6. Cheers Sean Just dropped you a PM with our wheel catalogue Tom.
  7. Can't deny it's a good business model! For general shipping in the UK they do, and you can decide your own international shipping fees. However ebay has a system called 'Global Shipping Program' which allows you to sell across all the countries eBay trade in without having to work out a price for every single country.
  8. In fairness that won't be the seller deciding that price. Ebay's global shipping program auto calculates the shipping and they handle the process. As a seller it gets sent to eBays hub (Litchfield in the UK) then they forward it on across countries. I believe they cover the customs charges too so that will be a chunk of the postal cost.
  9. Funnily enough a friend is the design engineer for Muzuri and the topic of kits was discussed not long ago. Not a small project but possibly watch this space, 539EUR sound good enough? 😜
  10. Loving that Ted, particularly the interior detail
  11. Will be heading along with the Braemere stand, looking forward to it!
  12. Looks awesome Zac, some really nice details and great foliage
  13. Snuck another kit out at the end of last month, a concept I'm really pleased has worked. SlurryKat 7.5m dribble bar for the Britains NC tankers. Simply cut the rear door off the tanker and the dribble bar is a push fit into the space created.
  14. 3am start to hopefully arrive before dinner time! That bit of sea gets right in the way 🙄
  15. Booked the hotel and ferry last night, looking forward to it. Attending as Braemere Models so get that spending money at the ready! (James Temper, next to Britain's on the floor plan)
  16. Cheers Jack, it's certainly been a busy year! Other than the Bailey and Heath none of these existed this time last year, just been through and checked, the first kit was the cattle crush made in early November. Time flies when you're making kits!
  17. A great day out at Spalding on Sunday for the first show I've done selling models rather than displaying dioramas. A great flow of trade throughout the day and brilliant to catch up with a number of forum members! Even got a nice little forum history lesson being positioned next to Andy's M&M auctions stall. Thanks to anyone that bought a kit and roll on Moira and Borderway at the end of the month!
  18. Congratulations Paul! We had some 20/30 year men at Wheelbase and they knew more than any of the engineers, a very valuable asset but highly underrated. I was chatting to Conor at the Road Transport Expo about job opportunities at Crossland but I've gone to Thompsons Tippers instead.
  19. It's just a phrase to describe the little triangles of grass at road junctions. We don't really have them up here but they were rife where I worked in Staffordshire
  20. Must be, but I'm sure they use it on that there wurrzle gumidge and he speaks dead funny like you Southern lot!
