Most recent pair of kits reaching completion, these will both be released over the weekend

You learn something new everyday! That would explain why everything was drying with a flat finish yesterday while trying to paint in the constant rain. Unfortunately I wasn't looking for the weathered effect. Will give it another coat now the suns out. Loving the Econ setup and as usual the outside shots set everything off beautifully

Thanks for the feedback Phil, this was the original kit so is probably ready for an overhaul, add in a range of headboards and it suddenly becomes a much more versatile kit! All the newer kits have a different suspension set up that lets the front axle rise up and down in a slot to stay on the floor. First I've heard of the wheels though with over 100 of them out there.

Hi Mike, hopefully this thread is helpful, not masses about the printing process but the video I've linked explains all of that This is the most recent water slide paper I've purchased https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314337354996 Advantages -Thin, when done right a waterslide decal can be barely visible -Easy to apply, applied over water you get plenty of time and freedom to move the decal around before setting by dabbing with a paper towel. -Fast to get exactly what you want, whether you need one decal or 100. Disadvantages -The manufacturing process can be hit and miss -They can be fragile -They don't particularly like light or moisture so if you're models are all in a shed or in direct sunlight expect a few issues later down the line.

No need to apologies, its great to see that the kits provide a basis for people to then push them further

Thanks for sharing your photos and videos Paul, Kelsall has always been a gap in our schedule (always seems to rain that weekend) but looking at these photos I think we should be adding it to the rounds. Far more to the show than I realised!

Had a play with a Chieftain Fuel Bowser, should make a nice little kit!

A quick run of masking tape around the upper sections should be suitable but it's just as fast to push the two upper sections out of the bottom, paint the bottom, and then push the two upper sections back in. Just make sure you don't loose the two copper spacers inside the ram!

A bit of refining on the Heath kits to match with the way I've been building my more recent kits. Now instock ready to roll.

I don't think it's a reaction between tyre and board Joe, more a bad batch of tyres. I have found the Wiese Deutz 6175 Warrior I have also has a bad batch and looking at photos I think it was the whole run of them that are slightly tacky to the touch and remain glossy/shiny looking. I assume its someone got something alittle wrong with the plastic mix when moulding, or a release agent reaction. From casting resin and rubber I have certainly found the more rubbery plastics to be more volatile/ loss forgiving if you don't get the mix just right.

I must apologise for providing so little to the forum recently. I haven't touched my diorama since the Borderway show in November, nor have I got to any personal projects like the Mastenbroek. However I've been very busy in the evenings after work with my Braemere Models kits. Recent work as below, checking that my bale chaser kit still goes together after some horrendous file naming on my behalf meaning I had no idea which files I finally used to make the kits, all sorted now and production well underway, should be available at the end of the month. Also been very busy with the Smyth 20ton kit. Got some paint on today before the thunderstorm arrived, again production well underway for an end of the month release. We've managed to get a re-run of Bailey and KTwos out aswell, the Bailey being upgraded to our new style of production and packaging with all plastic parts on sprues. Finally today's work having a play with some silage sides for our classic grain trailer kit, think this one will prove very popular! Still going to be flat out over the summer with Stewart, Richard Western and Marshall projects in various stages of work. Autumn might finally let me start the next section of my Grouse Knowl project!

Had the farm out of its crates for the first time since Borderway in November for some product photos, got a few nice photos while I was at it. Must get the next board made up for this show season!

Yes I've had the series 3 ones fall off after applying paint stripper, never put two and two together that you could swap them. Infact it's only typing this now I realise that you don't have to scrap a 3 series to do it, as you can simply make the 3 series into a SWB series 2a! Perfect
