Its a very nice model and very impressive. I am never surprised if there is a bit of damage with a Ros model, but there is just a loose row of discs which should hopefully be repairable with a bit of glue.

The contractor near here who favours 10 series JDs and 70 series genesis Ford/New Hollands has been about this week. 7710 JD been up a few times with hedge trimmer, as has their TW-15, and an 8870A passed by with a Sumo trio on the back.

Upgraded the big tractor from a Valtra S to this MF 8740s

I had the green version which was attached to a power harrow based on the Maschio model some years ago, I didn't think it seemed wide enough to be based on a 4m unit but I couldn't say for sure.

I thought it possibly was, willing it to be a 1490 as it looks like it's on a scraper and I could copy!

Spotted this whilst nosing around on Google Street View - is it possible to tell what DB this is? 1490 or a smaller one?

Lexion at extreme zoom!

I went to South Shropshire today and saw a New Holland of some description in the distance, then at Clun I could see a Lexion on a distant hill, i got a photo although I doubt it will be anything special. There was possibly something quite big working in Minsterley when heading back to Shrewsbury as there was a JD with a Chaser Bin in the field, but all i could see was a cloud of dust. When I was coming home on the train I saw a New Holland 8040 alongside the line in a field of wheat.

I thought everything was wrapped up around my way but saw a New Holland TX65 working today. Usually there are some beans still to cut at this time but haven't seen any growing this year

Spotted this on Britain's website, suggests the Valtra 8950 will just be the old model. Disappointed 😞

Mine may be a duff one, never mind, I was thinking of getting rid but ill keep it for working round the yard.

Looks better Paul, I am not confident enough to tamper with mine so will leave it as is. Does the steering work on yours? It doesn't on mine. There is the usual bit of wobble in the front wheels but not as bad as some other models I've had.

Local farm into their last couple of fields of wheat, hoped to get the light from the setting sun in this photo but an inconvenient cloud came along at the wrong moment.
