  1. Hopefully UH will bring out a metallic red one next or blue or both😁
  2. My local Dealers have got a burnt orange Q305 with Black rims. Pics will follow at a later date. Meanwhile they have just delivered the first new Q series machine😍................Beat that!!!!!
  3. B & B tractors receiving their Q demonstrator😎 https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/deliveryday?__eep__=6&__cft__[0]=AZWoLeNCiVtMXIUsp8OdwNDPr7RkPW5BmC_PxP46Gne-QrLTZxi5NHyeSSi3yODM1Pyn4-XjJofhAVerSo8B37U6MyjMjBjg8acfMpJaskWIpXAe9nAAfC-ZpsuSTIr9uahuPGwuFu9iWu3memfcNVoM&__tn__=*NK-R
  4. Looks like they got the right shade of red this time.
  5. One of a few new Valtra's on my patch this month, A brand new T255 which replaced a 4yr old black one. It was planting covercrop in fen soils to stop fen blow during summer. And just coming up the road as I took the picture was their other Valtra, a black & white T194 with the sugar beet drill.
  6. Awful news mate, my condolences too.......................I read an article recently that said "sudden death syndrome" has dramatically increased since 2021.
  7. Thats the spirit Justy, any other nice Valtra's just pin them on the thread chaps😎
  8. My earliest Valtra T pictures of the T4 (fat exhaust version) from 2016- early 2019. The first T4 to arrive at TNS after they took on the franchise was a blue demo machine, and subsequently it took them 7 years to sell their first blue ones locally with a couple going out lately with black rims. 95% of Valtras leaving Littleport TNS branch were either black or grey until the past couple of years. I wasn't seeing many about working locally until 2019. And notice none are on black rims, wherea's now most post 2020 machines round here are on black rims.
  9. Quite a few new tractors springing up on my patch this past month. A few new Fendt 724s, JD 6R 145,185,215s & MF 7s 180s. Also green & black Valtra Ts on white rims and a blue one with black rims! Plus a couple of Case Pumas and a yard full of NH T7210s going out on hire locally.
  10. Well done Smithy, I saw it coming down the A10 near Downham Market maybe from Kings Lynn or more probably Wisbech way. So must be planting near Soham I suspect,
  11. A surprise interloper on my patch on Saturday, a metallic grey New Holland T7.270 pulling a trailer full of potato boxes. No idea where that came from or where it was heading.
  12. I got myself the Black Valtra Q305, in case anyone else is interested in this one or the all white ones, you can order them through farming parts in N.I, with a 10% discount it cost less than 70 quid incl. the VAT + pp & took 5 days to reach me. https://farmingparts.com/ I will be making a few changes to this one to get it looking how I want it.
  13. I have next to no pictures of older Valtra's, I wish I had taken more of this nice blue facelift model at Grassland rather than the new at the time MF7626. G's near Wissington started buying dark green Valtra's back in 2013 with this T183, they ended up with half a dozen of these by 2015 and now have at least 12 new shape T's & N's all in the same dark green.
  14. I thought it might be fun to start a Valtra thread, as their 50+ year rise from a basic unremarkable foreign tractor maker into the modern day's coolest brand, available in any colour and configuration has been amazing. I only started paying attention to them when they brought out the 3 series facelift models in 2013. So thought I would put up a nice video from Normac 2014 of mostly Valtra's working😎
  15. I now have heard that the MF 7S I saw on Thursday was another 180 machine, this is because Pretoria Energy had just received 2 new ones this week with another 6 to follow!! Not sure what got replaced as they have 10 x 8700s & 10 x 7719S plus a number of older New Hollands. Its only a few years since MF were hardly selling anything locally, now we have Pretoria with 25+ and Gs about to take 30-40 on hire and some purchased😎 Part of Gs fleet pictured at Kennet branch.
  16. Seen the first of the new 7S Massey's this past week, a 180 on duals with a Kongschilde cultivator working by the road and today the first new MF hire tractor for G's pulling a fuel bowser, a 7S.155 and as usual it looks much better out on the road than a picture on a brochure or online.
  17. The front axle is buckling under the weight of the exhaust pipe Joe😄
  18. After a very challenging and mostly wet March we finally got back on the land for about a week at the start of April. We managed to get some more Barley in the ground but it just got too late to risk anymore and the land unplanted will be getting incorporated into maize again this year. We were fortunate that the Valtra Q305 demo tractor arrived perfectly timed too start out Maize drilling campaign whilst our big John Deere was still scrambling to plant the last of the cereal crop with the Vaderstad drill. TNS are hoping for a sale with the Q series and I must say I am tempted after an impressive demo. However its more likely at this point that we will hire one in for the summer busy season and consider a purchase once its had a good trial. Our contractor is doing a fine job getting the liquid digestate onto the land and both the Fliegl & Joskin tankers are proving their worth behind the two big MF tractors. Bill and his lads are showing why its so important to have a highly efficient team of competant & reliable staff to meet our customers demands. His third tractor is now pulling the Amazon fertilizer sprayer on land ahead of the maize drilling team.
  19. Massey Ferguson 7495. I changed the front rims and used nicer tyres off a UH Case Puma. And resprayed wheels Sapphire grey. Painted roof silver. Aged the exhaust as well and added a 2011 reg plate.
  20. Try swapping the wheels over. Grey with white rims and white with black rims😉
  21. I gave this one a miss too, spent quite a bit on new models since xmas and recent purchases of the Vaddy drill, NH baler & new Valtra Q & MF 7495 leaves nothing else I want presently.
  22. The front weight fitted fine Joe. ROS did the same 6 pillar cab on their dissapointing N174 Valtra. There is a big salad farm out near Wissington Beet factory that now has a good 10-12 dark green Valtra T & N's all since new shape 2015 and they have the 6 pillar cabs, but everyone else has 5s. Brushwood have sold out the grey ones now as well.
  23. Those 67mm siku tyres wont fit onto the 8S paul, I tried a pair of a siku MF8680, they wont fit an 8740S either or a Wiking Fendt 942!!! Stupidly oversized. Try a pair of JD 6210Rs onto the Valtra rim Actually dont bother😄 the 6Rs are 65mm tyres and jam in the MF8S wheel arch.
