  1. Here's what I meant to send. My 770 conversion with the trion 35ft header.
  2. Sorry, that wasn't supposed to get posted on here🤣.......................I was trying to post a picture of my Lexion 770 up but hit the wrong button and Katie Hopkins latest rant got posted instead!! Can't figure out how to get rid of it so if it offends Mr Moderator feel free to remove it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,although you might learn a few things about the ghastly people & "trusted voices" who bring us our news if you watch it 😁
  3. The local "Fendt" farm as I call them due to their 10 tractor fleet of green & red un's have changed one of the seven yr old 750 Lex's for this harvest, surprisingly instead of buying a new machine they have bought a 2nd hand 780 with 1230 header!! Okay its one of the last ones with the red idlers instead of black, and on a 2019 plate, but its still done 4 harvest's already. Are the new 8000's a bit unreliable compared to the 700's??
  4. I was sure I had read that someone was making an Macdon combine header, but cant find out who it was if indeed there is one?? Anyone know anything?
  5. I suspect they use the same cab as on their 1050 model which has a higher bonnet than 942, thats why the black shaded area with the windscreen wiper sits too high on the 942. I just brought a Fendt crawler as the detail is better on the USK, or at least its easier to improve.
  6. I hadn't heard that Joe, these should be very nice.
  7. Both good machines, quite rare to see a farm running different makes. If I am correct malcy pictured this farm before and they had a NH CR9.90 then as well which was older than the Claas, but clearly they've traded the old yellow for a new one rather than go all Claas. Probably down to driver preference.
  8. Here's Malcy new video and very good it is. A lovely Lex 7700 with 35ft convio header and a brand new NH CR9.90 with a very smart yellow sided Macdon header. Obviously the Claas wasn't good enough to keep the yellow machine from winning the sale to the farmer😁 I already know where 5 new yellow combines are this year, six now with this video, Ernest Doe must have really sharpened their pencil's this past several months!
  9. Claas need to make over their whole tractor ranges, the Arion & Axion's have been out since 2012 with little cosmetic changes. Maybe they plan to release the biggest first and then rapidly follow with new Axions/ Arions soon after. Maybe introduce a new 700 series 200-280hp too rival Fendt 700s and start the Axions at around 300hp as they are just too big at 200hp currently.
  10. I don't see whats different with the 942 cab? It still has the overly too high blackpatch above the drivers console on the front window which spoils the appearance, and that naff cool box to the right of the drivers feet is still there. Thats why I got rid of mine. And the front rims are too big, they work out at R40s and the tyres are numb!! I'm having a gripe😄 Hopfully Wiking will do a top job on the forthcoming 728 and all will be forgiven.
  11. Some comedian wants £500 opening bid for his Claas Cougar!!!
  12. Looking good guys, I'm aiming to finish building my trailer tomorrow then choosing what colour to spray it🙂
  13. Another recent visit to Chandlers Agri. Three new Fendt 940's lined up. Two new Black Valtra T235's Other new kit as well.
  14. T7.300 New Holland is coming as well, due August/Sept, it was on UH list of new models back in January at Nurnberg.
  15. In this part of the uk its JCB with probably half the telehandler market, and then manitou & Kramer. Most of the Manitous were supplied by JD dealers before the franchise change so I expect Kramer's market share to keep increasing in the years ahead provided the nutcases running this country dont get us all blown up!!
  16. Yeah that 260 does look really nice, pick of the bunch in the red stable. Took a few pics of one working at the Cereals event.
  17. Our new telehandler has arrived from JD dealer Ben Burgess, its a Kramer KT557 and will lift 5.5 tons to 7 metres. It replaces a JCB 550-80 which has been a good machine but not reliable enough to guarentee a repeat sale. We liked the old Claas Scorpion which was also a Kramer and decided to give their new machine a go. Our neighbours will start their barley harvest in a weeks time and that gives us a first opportunity to try our new New Holland baler out as we have the straw contract.
  18. New CASE 165 has hit the shops...............looks nice and "finally" theyve got the colour right
  19. New Kramer KT557 telehandler for me, and now that JD dealers are selling the real thing they seem to be shifting a few in my area. I don't think there was any release fanfare for these, they just appeared on the manufacturer's website last year, just like the Vaddy drill. I bought mine direct from Kramers website for £62, thats a lot less than the £100 +pp that Brushwood are asking for them. Its a very good model with 4 wheel steer. 5.5ton lift to 7 meters high apparently, ideal for loading big muck spreaders and artics.
  20. Bednar Kator plus forthcoming new Massey Ferguson 7S 190 on the front.
  21. Just in time to help water parched crops we have the first of our new irrigation reels. Our Fendt 724 will be our main tractor on irrigation duties this year and will be setting up the new machine on some stressed spring wheat crops. Our winter crops have all put down strong roots and look pretty decent but could do with some rain. We also have 90 acres of sugar beet in the ground, sown in late April after we obtained a quota from British Sugar. The price was much better for this year so we were happy to grow some. It will be contract lifted in November. It has come through quite well but also needs watering. A new telehandler is also due any day as our 10 year old JCB 550-80 has gotten long in the tooth. Its a big powerful handler and has been ideal for loading our muck spreaders, but we have decided to change to a competitive brand due to niggling electrical issues on both our JCB handlers. Watch this space.
  22. My latest purchase, an irrigation reel. Been meaning to buy one for yonks as there are loads out around my part of the world. And the new Ros ones looked really good, so I went for the Ferbo version and it looks very nice behind my Fendt 724. Also the real size Ferbo product is available in the UK.
  23. Ertl version of the coming Britains JD4450, looks decent enough.
