  1. I used to use a 3050 datatronic 2wd about 70 odd hp i seem to remember lovley little tractor never any probs apart from the handbrake pads needed replacing every year (everyone kept leaving the handbrake on )

  4. Changing the 40 fails on the trimmer (just a little bit worn out )Then a rescue mission blown tire on a trailer with 40 quaids on luckerly he made it to the layby on the a420 and then got to deliver them as the driver wanted an early finish
  5. The xtxs have got a lot of go in them but don't have the wieght that the 200 does . On saturday the 185 and poo spreader got stuck we backed the 200 and speader up to the 185 bearing in mind the spreader was in the mud and the 200 pulled the 185 out before the driver put her in gear dead wieght without evan thinkin about it but i dread to think what would happen if we got her stuck

I must have been trimming that day officer we only carry the truck behind the spreaders but the jcb had a pipe go in the boom and was taken away for repairs but it was nearly dark and with the xtx 200 in front and the 185 behind me nobody would have seen anything We were at sheepdrove at lamborne
  9. well off we go to spread some poo with the xtx 200 and 185 guess the case loading the 185 200 spreading haulin 15k up the hill for the 185 and 200 i could get 16/17 but not first thing needed the verge for some grip and some long skids on the way back empty oh and as for my beast well dial up the temp just right the controls soo much hard work wheres the front packing up to go home yep got the mx 200 going home guess who got the trailer me we got our selfs a convoy ten four rubber duckey

  13. It is a nice mower but very power hungery and very weak parts that dont last very long we have the 4 meter one

I had to go back and finish one little side today was getting to dark last night and there is a little prob with the field slight touch of ridge and furrow boss recons i need a trimming course think i am getting the hang of trimming now Triss it is a 5 foot head still got two days on one place then private jobs Fordson major no i dont use mesh i like to see what i am doing more so when it is raining i have never had a window break yet

  16. No she's only running at 1500 rpm the wind lifts the tarp and cools her more so at 50 k on the road

Well i thought last day and all a few pics wouldent go a miss and what a hedge to end on And before anyone comments on the top necks still sore now cleaned the window 5 times bit of build up got a bit of a wobble on now and again but was a tad wet dam someone has nicked those sky hooks again still the end result wasen't so bad I'm sure every year there is more rubbish chucked out of windows :'(
  18. Thats why i have done so many hours trimming I have had many a day on the levers but there aint no way i would have done that many or wanted too
  19. Its a bomford falcon 5.5 a solid robust bit of kit not let me down in 800 odd hrs still on the orignal belts tho i had them smokin today but i think thats down to the fail worn out the controls must add that is not the mxu 135 but the mx 135
  20. You better keep going all night if ya gona the trimming done by friday (well if he gets payments) And would have thought flat rolling would have more important Ohh and of course fencing Not bad for an afternoons work

    just done a three day job 8 hours plus getting there and back 55 mile round trip times three

    Spoke to the driver this morning i said i had got some nice pics from the day before he said he had spent half an hour cleaning the poo off so he could see out the windows
