Well on friday i got to feast my eyes on a silver and rust ford 7810 on a g plate still in daily use a little bit tatty but she still has all her glass and sounded swwwweeeeeeeeett

Swindon for the day( no model shops aloud ) by order of the one who must be obayed it was that bad i nearly had to put a suit and tie on ( but managed to get away without wearing one phew) Well it's not every day your daughter get's a graduation day is it We both are still feeling so proud of her so i think a few cans might be in order

On the way to work a jd along side the road with the driver standing there looking rather peed off .So he should did i hear (that wasent very nice of you was it) But i did feel sorry for him a 57 plate all shinny and new but a lack of oil from the back end was his prob been leaving for about half a mile or so up the road and a big puddle underneth the tractor When i went back that way half an hour later with me mxu there was a jd fitter looking at the tractor so i hit the horn and smiled at him with a big grin on my face and all i got was a very dirty look

Finding out on my local radio station that there doing a special 2 hour show about marc bolan who would be 60 on the 1 nov and a rare radio show found in some vault someware !!!!!!! starting at midnight :'(

Came across this laying in a barn i had a funny feeling it belongs on a mf so i thought i better have a look around and guess what i found not the normal tyres but she kinda looked a sweet little thing

We have a xtx200 and xtx185 both have had back end probs but we have had replacments both times.and silly hyd probs with leeks and spool probs .They both are very noisy basic tractors the 185 will outpull the 200 but they both do there jobs well fuel concumption are both very very good but will they last time will tell

this is a strange one but alan knows how to make her look good its a bautz Thats all folks hope you like the old girls they all sound as sweet as a nut and look like they have just come out of the dealers yard back in 1957 when they were all made thank you alan for making my hoils a bit special steve

Just had a weeks hols in achterneed scotland staying in a chalet .Then one everning i heard a lovely sound coming from down below then to my amazement this little old girl came around the corner soon down into the yard (even forgetting my shoes) for a little chat for an hour or so to alan the very proud owner and rightly so i think so i would like the thank alan for his kind permission for letting me take a few pics but you my have noticed that he has more than one old girl and i will be posting up pics as soon as i can

All very old and not used anymore i like the drawbar for moving her around the headstock must wiegh a ton and a little one

That sure is a lovley site seeing that county climing that hill i take it that bail in the first pic was placed there ? I have got 12 acres to round bail later the class 2200 have still got 60/70 acres to go yet (when it gets cut)

I am not sure how the hours are clocked but will try to find out when she goes in for her 1200 hour service (next week)

I have been using a case mxu 135 pro for 3 months now there was 350 hours on the clock when i started i have just clocked up 1210 hours does this seem a lot of hours or is this normal for this time of year i have been the only driver and with the wet weather at least 1 month she hasent really been used much

Well used springs to my mind

Finished bailing at midnight then went back and wrapped 301 total last one came off at 6am the tractor was switched off and fell asleep over the wheel then i was woken up at 9 by mrs on the mobe (were are you )back to the yard service tractor /bailer home for half hour quick bath fresh flask sarneys did some bailing tedding home for ten nice early night

Me this everning just as we were about to go home looks good from the front and a mess from behind (had a little help from the tm to get this far) theres a hook someware still not far to the ground now only took 2 mins to get me out puma 180 and spreader dove up the ruts chain around his front wieghts and the tow point on the back of my spreader and back we went

The chap that has driven it loves it an has asked for one to replace his xtx200 as for me i have the more plush cab on my mxu 135 pro so really its just a bit bigger than mine and i won't give mine up for anything
