The Tractor Twitcher
David, have you won the lotto or something ;D I'm afraid not Colm, the ticket I bought and bet I placed on a certain horse race on Saturday were a complete waste of time. It's back to the grind stone this afternoon for the night shift to start recuperating the hole in my bank balance before I buy any more models. FordTractorCrazy
@ Robbo/Mike : you certainly did a nice job not overspending i had a gem looking over my shoulder and actually making a purchase herself.. @ Jdc/John : that is an incredible list. Some of the best quality models made by the gifted model makers of England. Had a little chat with John Leathers, it's a pity he wont be making new models for atleast 2 years as i really wanted the M103 and M140, but good things come to those who are patient (I hope) @ Walterderwent/David : what a fantastic superb long list of models you have acquired at the show. That must have been a few trips up and down to the car i reccon? Pity i missed you there! And great seeing some of the christmas raffle money being WELLLLLLLLLLLL Spent! @ Dee-rest/Tris : even if it are only a few purchases and an extra trip to the ATM , the money was spent wisely on some cracking models. Of course a DBP is a must, so glad to see one ending up with you now. @ Tractorman/Sean : great purchases and nice talking to you. That baler sure is a jem.. as is your telehandler @ Leakeyvale/Sue : did you not make another purchase close-by? for the storage of models you acquire in your trip in the US shortly @ Lady Fergie/Mandy : i hope business was good for you. I certainly will be having to add a few extra items once i have started the....... with the help of my girlfriend of course @ Lordy Fergie/ Mark : nice meeting you and again some excellent (and quite expensive) models you have added to your collection. Seen those big 1200's, they looked mighty fine! As a genuine collector of MF, you must not let those slip away I understand that completely And it is also very nice to be able to fill some gaps in the brochures line-up. I was able to do so myself with a few small gems as well. and now my own purchases : - JD Spalding Show edition - Ford FW60 coll.ed. (1000 made) from Andy's dad. - New Holland TG285 (quite rare) also from Andy's dad - Ford 5000 - Hover mint boxed (to replace a nearly mint boxed version) - Fordson Major rowcrop - UH (from Ford loving Barry ) - Ford 550 backhoe - NZG - Fordson Dexta - Chad Valley (bought of Dave Purdue actually ) (am really chuffed with this one, it has been on my wishlist forever.) Also bought quite a few rarities - Fordson F - Fun Ho - Fordson Major - Binbros - Fordson Major - Binbros replica - Fordson Major - not yet identified. late 1950's i think - Fordson Major - MINIC from Mandy - a roll of grass matting - a wheelbarrow - a pallet (made by Lordy Fergie, i cant believe it.. ) - a stack of fertilizer bags. also couldnt resist placing an order with Dave Purdue oh yeah.. also picked the Portland Show MF375 DBP up at the show..
