Steve P
I recently purchased a Britains Ford 7000 and it is a nice model apart from the lack of steering!! but i really wanted a later Ford 7600 and i still do but i want one with the "proper" bubble cab, is that a bit petty??. Even the old 80s 6600 had in my opinion the wrong cab. I know on the real 600 range the older cab was a cheaper option but i want to be posh, is this possible???. Any help would be fantastic. Tractorman810
its easy enough to do mate, several people sell repo parts from the britains tw15's and 5610's, bit of cutting and filling and the works done, heres mine a 7600 and a 6600 both on the new britains ford chassis
SMurF
Will you stop leaving the doors open on your tractors as they may get broke off by passing vehicles
FNHIR
One tip if you are using the Q-cab: cut off the 'lip' in the middle of the front, only the 6700/7700/8700/9700 had this, the bottom of the windscreen was straight on the others

nashmach
Don't forget Ireland and Europe got the "luxurious" Fritzmeir also ;D
FNHIR
The windscreen was straight on the bottom of the 6700 7700 8700 & 9700 as well , the cut out part in the windscreen of Britains cab is the bonnet line of the above tractors where it stands taller than the straight bottom line of the windscreen , but Britains found it easier to make this part of the cab . Apologies, you're correct TT, but you knew what I meant
Tractorman810
dont worry the next 7600 has the cut front lower windscreen, they were both very early convos, mainly to point out to steve that it can be done, afterall thats what the posts about
archbarch
I dont know why Britains never made a Q cab version in the late 70s? i reckon you wont have long to wait before we see a Q cabbed Ford made by the likes of UH.
