Paul Palmer
It's got a 6 cylinder engine so 699 would be nearest I think Paul http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/004/1/3/4139-massey-ferguson-1014.html thanks mark, for that, wheels front and back would have to go,and those rear mudguard extensions would go as well, not sure about the front grill as well, and the front mudguards would have to come off
Tractorman810
to go uk spec it would need to loose the arch extensions to, but the rear wheels look very similar to what was on our 699, and that was from new uk bought, fronts are deff wrong mind, but i recon i have replacements for them already
Light Land
When are we able to buy that MF?
Paul Palmer
How about replacing the bonnet with one from a PDC 699 kit Paul? yeah, could do that,as on the 1014 the air cleaner is not the same as the 698/
Tractorman810
if we dont see a 600series from that from weise themselfs i would be very surprised paul, in this day and age the only way to make a good profit is utalise your castings, so for the sake of a new bonnet / front grill, it makes perfect financial sence

Paul Palmer
True about the air cleaner, back wheels would have to be changed as I've not seen ones like that before and replaced with ones like in the link below. http://www.howardandsons.co.uk/images/o_mf_699_4wd_1.jpg i must admit ive never seen a 600 series with wheels like that but sean posted that they are,and he did drive one, wheels are always a difficult topic
Tractorman810
if not i recon a decent mf 600 bonnet could be made if needed, all the right holes bumps ect
catkom3
I reckon the tractor Wiese used to do the measurement's had it's rim's turned on the centre's to adjust the wheel width to suit poughing / sowing etc, just wonder if it would be possible to cut the centres off the rim's and reposition them, maybe Mark has a brochure covering this, Regards Joe. This 1014 is originally an Eicher I think?
Tractorman810
not just germany though is it neils, netherlands and that way liked the 600 series, we all moan when we see say uh making the most of their castings, but we also moan when companys like weise do not?? and if they could sell say 50% of the number of 1014's in a new 600 form in the uk, then as mentioned it makes sence cash wise tomake the most of the basic casts ect

Johny mf
My uncle´s 600 has the gearleafers in the midle! So i think only the 1014 has that then? All the other 600´s i drove have them in the midle and i drove difirent type´s around here 675 690 698T and have sit in the cab of an
Claaspower
Would those Masseys have had a front linkage though? All the models seem to be coming with front linkages nowadays. I for one, will be buying one of those Landinis, although I would have preferred an 8550 When are they available, does anybody know?

Tractorman810
i do not think front linkages were overly popular when the 600 series was out in the uk , none of ours had them on for sure, although i guess we were behind in terms of kit like that compaired to mainland europe, we did have a makeshift front linkage for one of the 690's for seed drilling, but that was a simple bolt on frame, with 1 ram, just lifted the press straight up rather than using arms like modern ones do,once finished with we removed it till next year

I remember the Landini 8550,had the gears on the side but I'm almost certain the 10000 had them under the steering wheel
