I would of thought they would be useful in England were dairys are cutting close too the pit. Saw heaps in Germany and Sweden working while on my travels. Fair few over here now as well.

(Nicks farther inlaw even has one,as seen in the picture.)

i saw grass mowed off some 30 miles from me,to be honest there was so little in the swath that i asked myself why must people cut so early, there was literally nothing there to cut,it seems madness at the price of fuel..i know many dairy farmers prefer the young grass but another fortnight would probably have made a lot of difference to both the grass bulk and indeed the silage effluent situation as grass as young as this would surely weep like mad being clamped so early.........

Mowers going today, including the one my boss owns at the wood yard. Only a ten acre piece mowed off for another farmer to get some maize in behind it. Another farmer is having his grass mowed off to be picked up in a day or two so he can get his lagoon waste injected into the grass and get another cut in six or so weeks.

Nothing at all up here in the north east of scotland. Most people have just rolled the grass. Has been really dry up here which has hindered grass growth but all has changed now because we have had rain for the past 3 days will also help the barley which was also looking a bit sorry for itself

Neighbour started with his round baled silage the other day, other than that we are looking at 2-3 weeks before cutting  ;D  its been a bit dry with us, however rained last night and grass is looking much better

saw a pottinger chopper on a jd 6930 going up the road today, we have had a bit of rain though so might be leaving it a few days before cutting.

i did see a mf135 on a small trailer ligging silage and a 2wd fiat with an 8 ton trailer lugging.

and last week i saw a contractors jd 7930 and triple mowers on the road.
