Or, and I can't currently track down the photo I saved a few years ago, the cabs came in on a similar trailer stacked two high, now that would be an impressive build! 844john
I was just thinking about a couple of tractors on it James, all those balers would certainly test my patience, the cabs however.....now that might be more like it! I found it hard to decide which one as well Ted, so I've ordered a standard cab and a globetrotter

Tractorman810
they are actually really nice kits to make, well the old ones. i have both versions in the loft unmade, plus trailers, and a 3/4 complete unboxed globetrotter as well, they are left hand drive however the dash is old school flat and modular, so easy to convert to a right hand hooker, reminds me i must finish that trailer

Should make the basis for a few nice builds Ted, thinking I'll have to sort out a resin transkit front grill for the later facelift models, then this beauty can get built! Chassis should provide a good base for a Scania 143 cab too
JEP
What period is the volvo F12 heller kit from? Early mid eighties? Am I right in thinking that volvo revised the F series a couple of times?? And is there any difference cab wise between the F10 and F12?? Any info much appreciated.
SPN
I believe it is a late 70s to mid 80s version.
Stabliofarmer
The models are of the F10/12 from 1977 to 1987, the design then received a facelift (Cosmetically just the front grille in main, although the chassis also changed) and continued in production till 93/94. The globetrotter (high sleeper cab) wasn't available till 1983. Also in 1983 the low roof cab was heightened slightly. There's no cosmetic differences in the cab between an F10/12/16 other than the 16 was only available with facelift, while the 10/12 was available throughout the range. Hope this helps. 1977-1983 F12 Note the low/thin cab roof, the square mesh grille and round headlights. 1983-1987 F12 Note the higher/thick cab roof, the square mesh grille and round headlights. Globetrotter cab is also made available at this point. 1987-1993 F12 Note the higher/thick cab roof, the horizontal strip grille and square headlights. F16 engine is also made available at this point.

Stabliofarmer
Found an hour to throw my kit together, just snapped together at the moment with no glue. Nice amount of detail but you can tell its an old kit, some flash and miss aligned mould lines on minor parts. And next to its younger big brother
Ferret90
Looks good James, haven't got very far with mine. Not sure what colour to do it in, I'm thinking satin white with a bit of weathering
Stabliofarmer
Looking good Ted, weathered white would look the part with your Britain's Iveco
