Thats impressive ian , hard enough to build let alone paint and keep the functions , I actually saw something like this , on a jd parked up last week , looked a hell of a beast , couldnt see any decals on it to see a maker , but there cant be many arround making stuff like that .

Thanks Sean,

I've had to make the linkage at the head a bit less complicated than the real thing because linkages and parts would have been so small, the parts would be too weak, so strength and functionality was priority. A bigger scale model could probably be more exact.

Agriplant Ltd buy up old Hydrocut G-rahfs and extensively modify them for their own applications, lengthening and strengthening the arms and attaching modern flail heads to them. It seems to be an on going work in progress constantly modifying and improving on Hydrocut's original design, very impressive work.

I decided to paint and assemble the radio control model first to see how things go, so far so good, couldn't find a suitable flashing light bar so decided to use some transparent yellow and orange lego tiles which seem to fit nicely.

Cheers Sam, would love to have worked on a higher detailed John Deere model for this project, but customer has a budget.

Oooo wiking spec that would of been great. Still you actually don’t notice the detail so much on the tractor itself as the emphasis is on the hydrocut.

Wiking would have been great indeed, the frame work around the tractor helps to bring the detail level up a bit
