Went to the Ned Tarrant Tractor Run in Kilcorney today. Kilcorney is the area where the family farm is situated. Once run by my father in partnership with my uncle over 30 years ago. Now passed down to my cousin. It's about a 20 mile journey over Mushera mountain from Dripsey.  So my brother Gavin  got Cronin Agri T7. 270 & low loader. Loaded the 8210 and off we went.  I then ran the 8210 on the run and Gav took the T7. 270.. We unloaded at farm and the run was starting very near. Over 160 tractors took part, both modern and vintage..

A pics of the gear on the family farm.. All the tractors here took part. Except the 4000. The 4000 is after 2 restorations in past. It was my father's tractor during his time here.. On scraper duty's for the last 20 years now.. But it's here to stay. A T6080, TS115 & Fiat 85-90 are the farms workhorses..

What is this tractor? Homemade Fordson Major based?

FB_IMG_1712674874758.jpg

It's a mix of alot of things. Fordson Major rear end and a Ford 6 pot.. Possibly a Dorset 2715 engine.. The engine sub frame was made to suit as was the bonnet. Can't tell what the front axle is from.. Interesting tractor. Was my first time seeing it that day. Don't know it's owner.
