robbo
I went to the 3 Counties Showground at Malvern in Worcestershire today for the Tractor World Spring show. I bumped into a few FTF members whilst I was there and had a bit of a natter, always good to catch up face to face from time to time. Anyway, I did take a number of photos, nowhere near as many as The Tractor Twitcher who had apparently photographed every single tractor in the show. I don't think my camera would have enough memory for that! Most of the photos that I took were of the auction tractors, some were quite common but there were a couple of unusual rarities amongst them. A few old harvesters to start with

robbo
The DB 1212 may have overheated slightly, nothing a bit of T cut wouldn't sort out I'm sure
robbo
I am going to assume that this is a David Brown but it appears to have been "modified" slightly

robbo
Going to suggest that this Fordson was a forestry conversion, it was certainly a bit odd!
robbo
There were loads more, especially inside where there were some immaculate restorations however, this model was on the G & M stand and I had never seen one before. David gave me some info on it but, true to form, I have had a senior moment and forgotten who made it. It was a work of art

Valley Axe Man
Good trip yesterday, and good to catch up with a few folk off here and meet one or two too i didn't have to worry about a tractor in the auction this year... (maybe wouldn't have minded a bid or two on this 4/65 and the 4100 Leyland in the show itself would be a nice asset) although that must mean it's not far off my 804's first year in my ownership, i got a couple of photo's too but was alot of bodies about to get good clear ones.... Valley Axe Man
Once of a day in times gone by and the advent of free tax for classic vehicles, a Landy equipped with one of these 3 point linkages and the PTO pack could be re-registered for tax free as a Agricultural tractor.... justy 46
The 7000 looks like it just rolled off the Basildon production line back in 1974 or there abouts .. I have never seen a vintage tractor so spotless.. The 2 DBs are also immaculate ..
