Laois 1:32
Making slow progress these days, slowly working on the fencing around the house and lane, most of it is up, still a little bit to do on entrance to yard. Also painting it as I go which is the most time consuming part of it. Also brought in a load or two of soil for the garden, was originally going to have hens but I think I'll have a wee garden instead using the greenhouse. Plan is to lay the grass all down and then bring in the gravel for the drive.

Laois 1:32
All the post and rail fencing for this part done, still maybe a bit of electric fencing to do. Grass all laid down, reused from the old garden. Currently levelling out gravel in the drive and soil in the vegetable plot.

Bit of soil put around the gate and throughout the field. Cattle out in ideal conditions

Laois 1:32
Sorry lads I've been away and haven't made much progress recently but while I was away I picked up these few bits, good lot of hedging, some clumpy grass and a roll out mat of 12 mm grass all for just over £35. Hope to get going on the fields soon.
Laois 1:32
Started on the fields, made the ground uneven using pieces of insulation underneath the cardboard. Then stapled the cardboard down to the MDF. Currently gluing down wallpaper which will be used as cut silage fields once the grass on top is lifted up. Laois 1:32
Got the rest of the fields done. Fencing up, gates in place, drinkers in, and hedges up. Grass is not glued down so the fields can be used for silage - as you will see in a few weeks. Gravel down on the lane and the farmer is talking to the contractor about the bent exhaust on his tractor. Over in the yard the scrap heap continues to grow...
