New fendt 942.. i always liked thec1050 but felt it was too big for my farm and this is quite a big machine but not too much than the 936 and 939

I think Wiking made a way better job of the 942 than the 1050, though as picky as it sounds I'm not keen on the lights at the bottom of the grille, when there are 2 more just below, the 1050 doesn't have them so prefer the look of it.  That's nothing against the model of course.  The 1050 would have been a lot better with at least painted rims, and rear wheel weights, but I think different rims and tyres altogether would have made it a better model.  They were having a better day in the office when they designed the 942 model.

I don’t bother with G and M unless I’m at their open day or at a show. Their website never shows what’s actually in stock, and I can’t be bothered to ring up to make enquiries.

If you send a PM via Facebook they're very good for responding Chris

Bought four ros rear 3 point linkages from france to replace U.H rear linkages on some of my models thinking they would be better than the artisan 32 ones, couldn't believe it that there worse, hardly move up and down what a waste of money.

Lets hope UH get the nod too make the new T5 Valtras as well, much better Valtra models than Wikings poor attempt.

Totally agree and hopeful there is a 70th anniversary version as well
