Simon
We had our annual working day on the shoot. In absence of a front prop on the S2 and just the presence of the Disco due to lack of MOT, hauling duties fell to the Forester today. Now I didn't get any pics of it but the old turd acquitted itself very well in the woods. I abandoned the exit up the very sticky slope out the wood and waited for a mate to pull me out with his hybrid [s2 stretched shell, 100" RR coiler chassis, very well tuned 3.5, those amazon tyres, fairly serious bit of kit] but he could barely get up the bank either. So after giving him a gentle push it was in for a penny, red line the scoob and go for it and bugger me, she got out, and loaded with chainsaws, strimmers, shovels, picks the dog and numerous other useful things. A jacked up 300 shape V8 Disco on MT's also needed a bit of a shove so I was quite pleased with my battered freebie's performance!! After that it was the school barbeque, the weather for which was less than clement so we cut that short and came home, where I promptly fell asleep reading my daughter a story and have only just surfaced!
