Because we had 13mm of rain overnight to stop me turning hay ,I went to the Fram-Farmers/Walnes Seeds invitation only open day , after walking all the trial plots of wheat there was a good selection of machines to look at back in the farm yard and as much food and drink as you could eat :D

Just because there was a lot of food Smithy, it didn't say anywhere you had to eat most of it but it was nice to spend time with you. Did the Sponge lay heavy last night, see you soon off to Norfolk Show Goody.

Been cutting more grass today hopefully we get the sun over weekend to make hay

We dropped 140 acres today mate. Fingers crossed it stays sunny. Some people round here have had hay down for 2 weeks and had 55 mil of rain on it......looks awful.

Your wheat crops looking well Smithy:),  fields round me in the Fens looking very good presently except a few flattened spring barleys.  All in stark contrast to last year I must say.

Thanks the variety is Siskin

No, it belongs to a local contractor Paul, I had another of my favourite jobs of leading and stacking the bales....I do find it boring! The JCB was some tool mind, sounded very well!
