Paint colours

JC

Question

As it seems quite a few people are getting into this converting and building lark I thought it might be an idea to have a colour reference topic, maybe it will help a few of us along with getting a close match colour off the shelf for a particular brand.

If you've used a particular "off the shelf" colour to match up to a particular brand and you don't mind sharing it with others then please post it up here.

Okay maybe off topic but, I know there are instructions on spray cans on how to get rid off them but I haven't seen a bin at the local bottle bank for recycling aerosols so what does everyone else do with empty spray cans.

Ford Wedgewood Blue

Ford Maritime Blue (slightly darker)

what colours apart from the ones on the box has anyone used for the italari field tool shop set??? :-[

Absoloutley anything mate. Look in a workshop on a farm and you are abound with colours. Just randomise what you paint. Although lots of what I have painted share the same individual colours, set for set there is not one the same.

Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Orange, Silver. Matt, Gloss, Satin. .. you name it, you can use it. :)
