My mate actually has in the past ordered a new tractor without it because of the amount of time the tractor was going to spend with heavy front mounted gear on that would have buggered the front suspension up rather quickly by the manufacturers admission, that was 3 or 4 years ago now when these modern type suspensions were still in their infancy I think the modern version is pretty durable now though Gav.. with it 'off' it's just metal to metal in the same way a fixed axle would be I suppose... It says you should in the manual. It comes back in once you go over 12kph anyway.
