Didn't want the Kings of Leon to stop last night, great way to close out a festival. A few other favourites: Friday, Rival Schools, Maximo Park, Punch and the Apostles. Saturday, The XX, The Joy Formidable and Broken Records Sunday, Dananananaykroyd, Jack Penate and Placebo..... and many more besides and not forgetting all the entertaining shennanigans back at base camp and "boogying" in the dance tents. Leakeyvale Posted September 6, 2009 Author Share Posted September 6, 2009 Won a first with my mulberries and a third for my pears at our very first Parish Flower & Produce show (and I only put in three entries). Show was a great success. It was definitely worth risking life and limb balancing on a stepladder under/inside the canopy of the mulberry tree trying to pick the largest, undamaged, ripest fruits.
