THEBRITFARMER
This refers to point I made in another topic "Do you ever look at the items bought by those that outbid you" Look at the items the guy has bought in the past, the first page is almost entirely knives (which is a bit scarey) What they gonna do with a bale wrapper?? Shrink wrap them ha ha!. I think the first 4 letters in the userid ID says it all.

fenryk
Currently there is a seller charging ?15 postage on a group of 12 models which are not partcularly large. Is this a hidden mark up?
ihatepoundland
Depends, some people use stupid postal services or packing materials, profit from postage is illegal so contact the seller (or ebay and report them) if you think this is happening
fenryk
difficult to tell as it states seller's standard rate for UK. This is the Item number: 6954425685. This is all new to me and so far e-bay has resulted in a couple of turkeys (not Britain's models of turkeys!).
ihatepoundland
That seller is breaking at least one rule by adding for 5% to cover paypal, something they are not allowed to do. Currently that lot inc p&p will cost ?40+ not worth it in my opinion, try to negoiate lower postage
THEBRITFARMER
I agree that is way too expensive. If I see an item and they want a % for paypal or money for converting funds from $ to ?, then I stay well clear.
Guest quangova
If you see a seller charging for eBay, report it via ebay at http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-surcharges.html (report link at the bottom of page) for a listing violation, the seller will have the offending sale removed and will then have to abide by the rules before listing anything else.? Most of us abide by the rules and swallow the Paypal charges, and thus so should everyone else!

Dwross
I agree. if I had a few hundred to spare this model would be fairly high up my list. Just need 6 numbers on the lottery and I would be about sorted, however wife might not agree
