Corgi Massey Ferguson, without a box, would normally sell for £15-25, asking price £995.00

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CORGI-66-MASSEY-FERGUSON-165-TRACTOR-VERY-GOOD-ORIGINAL-CONDITION/153567288396?hash=item23c152dc4c:g:H7kAAOSwBPldLFle

I do hope it is a typo and the seller really doesn't expect to get that for it. If it sells I might put mine on Ebay, after all I only paid 15 euros for it so it would be a tidy profit

With sets like that...its the box that makes the money.. But they are all lose in the box.!! Should there be more packaging within the box??

I had one of those sets, and I think the MF combine set as well. Each model was packed in a brown card wrapper and then boxed. IIRC you had to pack in a specific pattern to fit them in.

the driver is a repaint  , the trailer is also a re paint1 i enquired about this set prior to it being listed and sent pictures and hey presto upon being listed the trailer has changed colours!!!!. if you enlarge the pictures you can see the colour bleed through  the trailer paintwork.  I have the set and the trailer shown is a later 9530 trailer my set has earlier 130 f trailer in the set . i question the authenticity of this item someone is going to be disappointed for sure

Which trailer is a repaint, the clockwork one?

I see what you mean about the tipping trailer, it should have fat tyres. Presumably this one also has plastic rims.

Expensive box as far as I am concerned, don't get me wrong i would like it, but not for strong money

I would not  be happy receiving this through the post having paid very strong money for it, some "lovely" fatigue cracks to casting, and no implement adaptor! It doesn't look like it has ever been played with. Plus point it's an early one with the straight lift lever.

The variation in prices on Ebay always amuse me, one that I would consider to be a realistic price and the other......................well, not realistic is a polite way of putting it.

The first one is buy it now for £55, quite a good price I would think

And then for exactly the same set, £265

If there is something that you want Justin and the seller won't post out of the UK then I am sure that there are people on here who would take delivery and then post it on to you. It may incur a double postage charge but if the price is right and it is something that you want then I am sure we can come to an agreement.  I have taken delivery of items before and then taken them with me to Zwolle for European buyers.
