  1. Come on Tris,...you know you want to......... I have been informed that tha steelwork will be arriving on thursday,........................I dont get back there till saturday. I have ordered my "spy" to keep an eye on things and photograph any progress .
  2. At the moment,....3 buckrakes,...awaiting decals,....to be done later if I am sober enough..(Cerin's early birthday meal) one jcb 526 loadall carriage conversion,...slightly different to the one I did before.... ......and an ALLIGATOR.................or three....

  4. Nothing yet Tommy. The higher biofuel content shouldnt cause leaks,....it causes bacteria growth when stored for longer than 6 month periods,...so they say....or reckon..... \

  10. After a final check on the levels and a scrape about and a bash down with rolly... The answer to the question about getting the pipe under the road,.....Dwayne was right about the first item..... Then these three were pulled through in order of size.... 1.....A small emergency oxygen tank from an aeroplane 2.....An old accumulator from the smoothride system of an early Scorpion 3....An old cast iron 28 pound weight,...the weight went thru first but was exactly the same size as the 6"pipe so I cut a scrap Bauer 6" coupling up and the collar fit perfectly over the weight.....,took a bit more pulling through with this on..... Having two weeks off now,....down Cornwall. I have a secret spy to keep an eye on things if this huge erection starts while I am away....... :of :of .. : Will post more when things start to happen...... ;)
  11. all I know is that the person that gave it to us about 35 yrs ago said that it was the only hitch it had ever had. Cant really tell you a lot more other than its registration number which I believe was CEU 523......

  13. After 25 years of loyal service old "Wesley",...(our pressure washer/steam cleaner[the steamer packed up years ago]) finally got retired.. It was so bloody heavy that you either wheeled it around or moved it on the pallet forks.No one in their right mind would want to nick it. Its replacement however, needed a tad more security,..... Made use of an old 300 gallon tank,..and an hour with the disc cutter and welder. Took just as long to anchor it to the floor as it did to make it.....

  18. No pictures yesterday,.....flat batteries.... [ Rolly arrived today and so did bloody winter again....... still a bit high in places.. Last length of pipe for this end,.......for now anyway..... The only real problem with this store will be the slope up to the door on this corner,......ther was no easy way, or rather,cheap way out of this..... A couple of the trencher..

  21. that surprises me Mark,......its a trencher,...endless chain,.....for land drainage.Paid for itself in 18 months.... Still gets used fairly regular,....cables,drains,.....you dont want to go too far on the road though,...shes a bit of a nodding donkey with all that weight sat out the back.... :of
