  1. no could about it sean ,now you got those done it would be a great shame to not see a complete fleet line up :)
  2. yeah the light were the same right up to the 3650 approx 125 HP ? spotty dog eh tris ? :D
  3. got to change that decal mark ,looks more like a 3650 now , matter of fact file off the front lights & put 3 rectengular ones up in where the decal crosses the front & badge her up as a 4250 / 4055 :) :P :P
  4. i spect that would be because of the sound they make sean , the david brown engines sounded smooth with a lovely hollow bark very distinct noise , unlike the ford engines that sounded very coarse in comparison.
  5. :D calm down mate ,blimey i didn't think i pulled yer chain that hard :D
  6. about to have a roll-up, going to have a bath (must get a shower fitted) then get stuck into the house & have a tidy up , while i do all this i'll be considering my options for the harvesting display pics , i'm assuming it'll be split into decades again ?of which case i can probably get away with 3 decades if i have enough relevant machinery :) :)
  7. i have seen a 1294 CASE-IH , the chap had it from new , but i recon it was one of the last off the line,as the heat from the engine had started to make the black paint peel to reveal orange underneath, it was near Shaftsbury. It has black & silver 1294 decals but the plate does say CASE 1294. It is a 4wd model & has a low option version roof & was fitted with a loader, last time i drove past there was a JD 6210 in the yard , so it may have been moved on The small holding was owned by a Lord & Lady James & every time i delivered feed there i was given a cup of tea, chocolate biscuits & a bottle of wine for mixing a bag of minerals into the feed before blowing it into the feed bin :) that was a twice a month feed order & at xmas time i was given a bottle of wine & a joint of organic beef from their own herd :) :) Thats the advantage of having a 6 wheeler & extra pipes as the 8 wheeler couldn't get in & if they could they didn't carry enough pipe to reach the bin ;D

i could be wrong but i got a feeling that should be grey & gold \
  10. going to be a collectors set when the 565 & the 595 is finished sean , absolutely priceless :)
  11. the red cabs were all 2 door & the two tone cabs were 1door , the french tractors had 2 steps & the british tractors had 1 step, the two door tractors were good ,but i like the 1 door better
  12. it would be nice to think a banner lane tractor would grace seans farm not a french one & it's french as it's got two steps & noy one , & the two tone cabs looked so much better i'm so dissapointed in sean he should send them to me to dispose of them in my attic , in my own time of course
  13. :P :P :P gimmie, gimme, gimme me & marky are on our way ,but i'll have to hide marky , as i'd be associated with a bloody grockel :D
  14. AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH it's a french one :D :D
  15. or the brakes on the little deutz 3.90 towing those two four wheel drags
  16. no , just a few bolts & it will come off & a pickup hitch can be fitted, but why change if the whole farm is geared up for this , it would cost a fortune changing every trailer & implement & all just to have a pickup hitch \
  17. thats the ones gggb :) thanks for that, maybe gromtrigger can give us a better answer as to why they still use this system ?
  18. you could have done a lot worse than to come home with that 4610 mart
  19. thats what tris' mate 'howards' do for their bussiness
  20. take a look at the back cover on some of the old editions of CT & you'll see a nice shiney CASE-IH 1594, that to me is a good looking purposefull tractor of it's day
  21. you shouldn't have to go at it at an angle \ if you do it right the sides should be banked up tight , then fill the middle , so when driving along the sides, the tractor should by rights lean in towards the pit, not out towards the sides trust me on this
  22. went in to work to hand in my notice & the were jusy getting onto the A303 heading east , don't haul a great load , but i spose it's like a shutle , load quick & go fast , no roping or straps , just back up to the stack ,tip, squeeze, let the load back down & off you go , get to the farm, tip, release , & go
  23. four volvo FL6's kitted out with self loading big square bale squeezers , off to sailsbury plain me thinks
