  1. wheels are too big mate , the original 595 wheels would fit better , & seeing as it's on a 362 ,at least it will go better with a perkins in it & not half as much smoke !
  2. looking good rich , & a good size too, if you want a bit more air circulation for the cows & lett a bit more light in for when the roofs on , make some saw cuts to half way down the sides approx 1 cm apart , that way you get a yorkshire boarding type of effect. not the best pic but you get the idea http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=8209.0;attach=17680;image

well it's worth ?300 i recon . got to be to him rather than see it doing nothing more than taking up space there's an AD in CT mag for KG KINGSTON,in symondsbury looks like he's the man for replacement parts , even given himself a promotional page of a resored tractor ! here's one i made earlier :D
  9. driver error my Ar$e the original engine needed replaceing , & the other two ? well no one seems sure what went wrong with them , but we had the next engine done by another dealer & had no problems with it so it was two bad engines , or two badly fitted engines the gearbox was knackered when i took it on so was due to be replaced anyway but i think it was abuse rather than gearbox failure , you either got used to the rubix change or you didn't , i personally recon it was better & smoother than the H pattern column change anyway & i got on quite well with it , but i've driven one , not long back & it took some getting used to again

  15. very rarely see any MF combines around here i know there are some 525's floating around & a couple of 2? dronemberg types but other than that it's claas,JD & NH. wasn't so much the combines fault it was the backup recieved from the dealers , & by the time we got some decent dealers the damage was done same as the tractors , MF were a force to be reconed with in the past , but the dealerships let them down, then milton mills came along with the JD dealership & knocked them all for six , needless to say local dealers have gotten their act together round here in the last 10 years or so
