  1. i have put some cheap new-ray wheels on mine & they look pretty good , unfortunately the crane / winch has no longer got the mounting plate to refit it, a tipper body can be fitted as the bar at the rear is used for the hinge . mine also needs decals & lights
  2. that wire fence looks cracking mark :) as for trees around the farm i was going to get some teasles & spray them green , another option i've seen is sprayed bottle brushes, as the come in various shapes & sizes
  3. Hmmm... a 135 on a 362 chassis eh ? i recon it would look ok as you'd have a 135 with 4wd seliene axle :)
  4. can't wait to see it fitted out with a pick up hitch ,for pulling yer trailer & tanker marky go on you know you want to :D
  5. surprised to see the levers marky , i thought you'd of spec'd one with electro hydraulic switch controlls
  6. is that modeled from the small siku sprayer jas? looks good that
  7. is that moddeled from the small skiu sprayer jas ? looks good that
  8. i recon the major topper would make her dance on the front end a bit tris
  9. the britains loader is too long to be a DB / CASE loader mate
  10. Hmmm,.................... serious lack of 135 & loader on the front cover mate
  11. really ? i recon a wheel change would have been all it took to transform it to a reasonable looking tractor , as has been said between us many times , sometimes a wheel change can make all the difference , between making or breaking a model
  12. OOH ERR....................... best keep talking tractors i think sean
  13. change the wheels sean & i recon it'd pass for an 81 series
  14. GRRR................. now yer just showing off :D they all look very good , c'mon then a 362 2wd & 6180/40, 185,135, & the standard britains 595 need to be lined up with them
  15. blimey sean , coming on leaps & bounds mate , the loader decals will finish it a treat but now i've seen IM,s offering , maybe we've been a bit hasty & it could have been a 565 & the 135 size wheels & chassis wouldn't be a bad shout either . all in all damn good convo's both of them , sean you really are getting too good at this lark :) just thinking aloud now , all you need to build now is a 595 & the complete 600 range, 2wd & 4wd of each model mind , we don't want you slacking :D
  16. the big pipe coming down over the fuel tank in the FC pic is the loading pipe for the vac tank , follow the pipe & you will see it joined to a manualy operated valve
  17. the second pic is a county 'high speed hauler' but i don't think these were ever released , but in it's time it was fitted with a 40kph box ,so i'm led to believe
  18. here you go rob this is a pic of the FC that i used to drive , believe me there's nothing that would stop it . look carefully at the lights & you'll see how deep the mud was that i had to travel through , on the back is a 1500ltr vacum tank built specialy for this machine , this is a W reg & the other was a V reg , not the best thing to have to work in all day , but at home time she'd get up to 18-19 mph. on the rear is a 3 leg howard paraplow adapted to inject sludge / raw sewage to a depth of 18ins when it was time to move fields , a county 1184 was used to tow the sludge holding tank after me , the tank was an old artic tanker. If the 1184 wasn't available i'd have to get someone out in the pick-up to take the paraplow & i'd have to tow the holding tank myself . the tank on the front corner opposite the cab is an oil resorvior for the vac pump . the fuel tanks on this & the other were between the wheels , one on each side & had a pipe running between them for self leveling . mine was fitted with "sugar cane" type tread tyres & the V reg was fitted with "michelin MX's" only real problem with theses machines was if it got jammed in gear one of the front wheels had to be removed , not often happened on this one ,but the selectors were worn on the v reg ,so you'd have to be very carefull when selecting them.can't read it from here but all dawes tractors had the drivers name on the door, & this one has mine on it pic taken in 1991, in a field next to the A37 on the fosse way heading from yeovil > shepton mallet
  19. now thats a monster of a trailer, very nice :)
  20. markys right the 550 is the smallest the 565 was slightly shorter than the 575, the 575 was comparable in size to the 590
  21. only seen a pic of a 2wd 6190 but i dere say like everything nowadays 4wd is a standard option
  22. prefer the chunkies to the skinnys sean , but other than that WOW :) :) :) just need to fill the back of the cab in & job done , :)
