  1. More of a member's fleet really than member's tractor but here goes. This is a pictorial tour of our fleet of 'driveable' machinery, including the two Isuzu jeeps: First up is the flagship 2001 Valtra 6650 with just over 4000 hrs. Main duties include ploughing, one-passing, spreading fertiliser, mowing, baling and hauling anything that needs to be hauled, but has been known to turn her hand to other things.
  2. I put big wheels all round on a cabless Ford 2120 to make it into a County \
  3. Good conversion ther Rab. We have a single one like the pic above that we use as a counterbalance with a bale on the back of our Ford 6610 when drawing silage bales. It also means you bring one extra on each run (we usually have a second tractor pulling the trailer and the Ford loads and unloads)
  4. I just want to say that my brother bought a Powerfarm TW off ebay that was seized as well, I sent him a link to this page and he said he tried the tips on here and it worked a treat!
  5. Perhaps 6 was the number of boxes in a case/carton? We'll have to get that put up as Marky's profile picture :D
  6. In classic Homer Simpson style: Mmmmmmm, 8100 peat special :)
  7. Are thoae type of slurry stirrers any good, thay looka a bit naff to me? I know a fella who has one, he calls it the propeller :D
  8. Maybe that's exactly what they want to avoid! :D
  9. The bonnet styling is quite similar to the Brazilian Valmets \. How long have Massey had tractor manufacturing operations in Brazil?
  10. Not before you put the head back!! :D
  11. Nothing a good panel beater couldn't sort out ;)
  12. I know :. Point is it is CARTING not KERTING, regardless of how you say it in your part of the world. Not getting on to you Murray but you might as well spell it right as wrong, its the same number of letters

Yes yes, I love peat stuff too!!!
  14. Well why didn't you say so? :D I suppose this is going to a big estate paddy field where the drivers want the extra luxury of not having to breate in lungfulls of dust all day!!
  15. It was taken off, you can see that it was the last bit put in, after the engine. Get your glasses checked young man!!! :D
  16. Looks to be just the rear wheels and the cab off a Jaguar really \ \
  17. Murray can you please tell me what 'kerting' is???
  18. Had this link emailed to me yesterday. Pretty amazing how they strip down the combines, even the rear hood and engine comes off!! http://www.geoffrelphtractors.co.uk/loadingcontainer.html
  19. I don't think I'd go match ploughing with a bar point \ \ But then if its what you have and its just for fun it would be good enough i suppose
  20. I'd say you'd want something pretty heavy to pull a plough like that as there wouldn't be any weight transfer to the tractor wheels as with a mounted or semi-mounted plough
  21. I think my brother got a dealer boxed 5000 from toptractor
  22. It's called a macerator, apparently they're pretty easy to block too
  23. Quote from the KV website: 2-5 Furrow Models The Kverneland EM / LM is available in 2-5 furrow versions. The 2-, 3- and 4-furrow models can each be extended by one body. You might want a heavier headstock though as Colm said Edit: Looking at the brochure on the KV website, it says that 3-5 furrow EM models come as standard with the 200 headstock and 2-3 furrow models the 110 headstock, so unless yours was a 3 furrow that has been already extended, it should be OK. The brochure also says that they are suitable for use with the Packomat packer without modification, which is a pretty hefty extra weight on the plough, so an extra furrow should be OK. I still can't see where you'd bolt on the extra furrow on your one though? http://kverneland.papirfly.no/newsread/ReadImage.aspx?quality=10&docid=5960
