  1. nice bales there,i must do more for the layout sometime all be it small bales
  2. they did a jd combine last year, cant remember the number ,but was old school , was very well done, nearly parted with my cash to be honest.
  3. have spent pretty much all of this week around north and central cornwall for work, somewhere i have not been round for a couple of years properly, just been passing through , but i have been amazed by the explosion of fendts up that way, new ones and second handers, seen a couple of new 939, 800’s and 500’s ,the 500’s mostly all had fendt loaders. a big range of older 700 and 800’s ,and a couple of black 936’s , looking at the plates, i would say most have been trade ins from east anglia, given the A* prefixes. whilst fendt have a dealer that way ,it was rare to se a new one so clearly they must be doing some good deals, and even with the trade ins.it always used to be new hollands, then john deeres out that way, with the cow guys liking their masseys, now its all fendt . also passed a farm i go past once a week, always been a new holland guy, normally has 3 ,one with a loader but now hes running brand new case ,same i know but are the case versions cheaper than nh? seems weird to swap like that, hes been nh for the 30 years i have been out that way .
  4. it is joe, takes ages to save and upload to the cloud , i only put 4 on a file, then copy it on the slicer to try and keep it down size wise as well,
  5. They are deep and i do have another one part done cad wise with a shallower rib and a small amendment to the outer cleats? /tread , just softening them a bit , but it takes ages to do , and to be honest for a print ready set of 6 tyres its a bloody big file as well , bigger than all the trailer files added up , 110 meg plus so theres a fair bit of data in it
  6. been fighting a really really bad case of man flu this weekend 😂😂😂😂 so not been bothered to much about the shed, but have been sat doing more work on the trailer tyres, first 2 pics were my original attempt, the next to, what i think i will settle with ,now to find a sensible priced rubber resin, or do you think a coat of tamiya rubber tyre black would be ok??
  7. to be honest cyril, for a boxed powerfarm, in what looks to be good nick?? 74 quid aint a bad price, they are normally 100 at most shows that i have seen
  8. i remember a john deere that did the rounds in the uk ,to have a laugh with someone, even i had a pic taken with it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  9. peter raffles of one of every limited show model he does.only just seen the post, but just from pic 1 you could see it was one of his
  10. look between the rear wheels and the arches and you will see some small screws, remove those, then you should be able to remove th cab in one peice
  11. one will prob head my way, just down to it being the right era and i have all the other 2000 series , that said its far from good, still wrong on the exhaust, air filter bloody huge, get the arch extensions are a euro thing, but not something i like the look of. really can not believe agco has signed of any of the 2000 with the exhaust issue anway
  12. not convinced i would get the tread detail to show joe, i did try it once ,and they were just black discs effectively, i may have a go with the resin, just to see how well they come out, but i do still have the moulds to cast more, its just a time thing, takes 30 mins to get 4 tyres casting, i did a print of 30 and it was 2 and 3/4 hours . the normal resins come out fine, but shrinks a little so they need sanding out in the middle, or redesigning, where as rubber would stretch that 1/4 mm out to fit .
  13. Yes and no i guess , for you its prob expensive given how much you do , it seems costly to me compared to 19 quid for 1kg i normally pay , but i wont print anything near as much as you, so prob cheaper than i mentally think, test print came out ok, all the details are nice and visible
  14. cheers james, they really took some doing, the printer parts arrived Tuesday, so fitted them Wednesday, its now does the exposure test fine and the clean tests as well , so all working again, plus a new fep sheet to replace the one wasted in the tests (freebie) not what i had before though ,a softer sheet than normal, looks smokey, but is very easy to fit, and no sticking/pop when it lifts now. 5 prints in and no issues, not 100% sure it was the screen despite what they said, i recon it was poss the ribbon cable loose on the motherboard end ,as i re terminated that when i had it apart, as it looked angled ,they only told me to do the screen end ,and it worked when i had the old screen on (didnt try a print mind) , but changed it to the new one ,will keep the old one as a spare as i suspect its fine, the resins 35 quid for a 500g bottle so double for half as much, so i may not do it,but it does look good so maybe a bottle for my own stuff in the future,
  15. well after most of the day ,since 10ish ,mainly trying to remember how to it , especially the wavy pattern tread ,which i have not found on any youtube video ,have used maths i have not used since school working out arcs and stuff along with breaking down to correct size sections to use .my head hurts now 😂😂😂 but i think i have got some tyres sorted for the trailers, little more detailed than the cast ones i have, but if they come out ok it will save me some time instead of rubber casting. have even found a potential resin thats rubber style as well, but its hellish pricey for a small bottle first sets printing in normal resin as i type before committing to a costly bottle of resin, black paint may be easier 😂😂
  16. they were using something similar down here smithy ,when doing a big roadwork's job, but it had a built in chainsaw as well, they fitted it to the end of a merlo roto, so cut the limbs up high and just bought it down, so no climbing, lot quicker, road was closed for 2 hours max , rather than all night
  17. if you had posted that the top would have been held together with baler twine smithy
  18. nothing as flash as smithy, my welding was never good to say the least.for me a extractor fan and pipe so i can fit a proper vent in the shed paint booth ,wife's been nagging at me for a while now about when i spray in the shed even though i used a paper face mask , so this should stop her nagging at me now,
  19. replacement print screen arrived for the printer today, took me a while to fit it ,but after doing the install tests all looks ok, so its fixed back in now, seal tapes on and a test prints running, my shortest one at 4 hours, half way through now and i have a print on the build plate, and its looking good so far .
  20. whilst the printers down, i have been sorting the shed out ,new shelfs stuff like that, but i did manage to get the blue trailer done, this ones been stained with the wood in place and i have found it trys to warp the trailer when its wet, seems it expands more than i thought, have tried a slightly weaker stain this time as well, question is red versions stain or blue versions stain
  21. new screen and light pack on its way, sent videos and all sorts to them in the technical dept as requested , and they agreed with the initial diagnosis made by their online chat guy ,uv lights on but way under powered, i have also got to add a new firmware when its fitted as well, i hope the instructions come in english when it all arrives is all i can say
  22. know who you mean, but like you the names gone from my head, he did my scaledown plough conversion i have .
  23. well that went well, seems my printer may well have an uv light issue, was fine saturday last weekend, put a print on sunday, nothing??? tried 3 others nothing, tried 2 others resins nothing. cleaned it all up and did a clean cycle with a skim of resin on a spare fep sheet i had , and noticed that i could not see the uv light with the lid closed, which i could when i have exposure tested and done a clean cycle before, and it failed to cure the resin on the sheet, opened the lid whilst it is on, tried again with a exposure test and clean cycle and its very dim?? bit like me some would say 😂😂😂 .so now waiting for a reply to my online chat and email to creality. thought it was going a bit to well
  24. If you go by some peoples comments else where the model can only be a 168 178 or 188 and only in 4wd format as its got its 4wd box inline , its about 3 mm in scale terms and an absolute ar5e to join the chassis , let alone re alinging pipes ect if you do want to cut it out to get a true 2wd chassis . So stick to the decals is what i say , shame that they didnt get the uk style mf flexi and delux cabs offered over Europe , we might just have got one then at some point
