Bit of colour added , piped up the front linkage both sides for the rams plus 3rd service , new straight pipe here, lot happier with that now , just waiting on some new rear hubs for her, proper mf3000 ones (two different widths) plus some tyres option's on the way in some more weise fendt ones although i think i do like these . Front hubs need tidying up as these are prob the finals bar maybe tyre width, once happy with the chassis work that will be painted up then onto the rear arches . -
its 50/50 for me at the min, got a fair bit on at home and theres a few weekend jobs at work as well, which i am trying to negociate myself out of at the min, but really do want to go as i missed last year due to work

Its weird i have found that what looks right in cad , measurements wise ect doesn't always seem to fit right in reality once printed . Not sure if its my perception on cad ?? Or something weird in print / materials used and they shrink a bit or something -

yeah thats neils stand, he has had them there the last few trips we have made, although he has told me where they come from, i for the life of me can not remember right now, but he does do / sell a lot of custom stuff ,tractors alongside the normal stuff . i dont think he has his own website. udimore (barry) can prob confirm,as he knows him well -

Tractorman810 replied to MODELFARMER's topic in Other Conversions & Scratch Builds
would need a bit of time for that, prob a few test prints to check fitment readjust ect, doubt you would get them right first time so i think the plasticard and some filler will be a easier option , -

The more i think about it the more i recon i will extend them hugh , always knew they were to narrow , its just how you hide it i guess, properly like you or the black plastic extensions which would be less work. But they are far less common in the uk from looking at pics -

uh 2640 chassis, modified for the wheelbase. just been playing around and i think i have been thrown by an optical illusion, now i have the third step on it looks a lot better , i do need to look at the wings width ,but i may just cheat and put plastic extensions on, as from pics,at 1/32 its prob only 2/3 mm if that bigger ?. -

I am happy with the height of the cab and bonnet, the side lights/indicators on the grab rails sit level with the top as per all the pics, i have another set of rears , bigger than the fendt 515 ones , but no fronts to match , these are of a fendt 818 i think , certainly a uh fendt at least -

really not sure if bigger tyres all round suits it, just doesn't look like how i remember them back in the day -
like the island, although you need to rough the edges and corners off with some wheel marks, most of us cut the corners on those when hauling afterall ,couple of pot holes left as well πππ

done it now, went 3 point all round, just need to source some replicagri top links to make it easier, used the newer wheels i had, exhaust is temp, pretty sure i have a straight pipe with top flap in the box. cant find decent decals anywhere at the mo either, located the extra steps needed for each side, cabs a mm or 2 low at present ,but easily sortable. -
blimey that threw me a bit when i first saw it ππππ

went out to tidy the shed yesterday when it was raining, and didn't achieve much, got distracted after finding a box of bits ππππ. got the dremmel and moved the front a el forward a bit and test fitted ,but the question is, do i go the whole hog and put 3 point on the rear as well.also got a poss set of slightly bigger tyres for the rear, thought i got the fronts as well, but cant find them, so i think it will stay on these -
looks a similar colour, all the wheels and plastics seem to be aged the same, and after a good look theres been no obvious decals on it, all the little farmer stuff i have seen have tampo decals on them don't they ? its a late version thats for sure,as its got a china marking on a raised bit of extra metal where it would have said Britain on the side
-
been down west today and managed to visit a smallβ vintage β selling toy shop.he doesnβt normally have to much in thats complete for britain's stuff, normally broken bits or missing parts , however today i found this tucked away in the corner. he wanted 10 quid, but i got him down to 5. all the white plastics seem the same age ,look the same discolouring wise and are the harder brittle ones, paint all matches and is glossy, 100% sure its not a repaint. and going by the rust on the body pins(hold it together) the stiffness of it all and given its the brittle plastic fittings, i suspect its not a rebuild from anything. not that i can think of any baler in this colour in the first place. doesnt appear to have been any decals fitted to it. even the tailgate, as no whiter patch where the vermeer decal would have been .has anyone else come across one before
-
and that means what to the new look xerion philππππππ saw a older xerion down this way recently, poss the version before the current out going ones , on a big chipper, have to say i think i preferred the old look one to this, either way a very rare machine down this far
-
well if thats the new dates i can already say no to those, i am away on holiday the 5th sept, so have booked all my allotted 99hrs leave up to cover it, looking at pics i have seen, the halls look very empty of people walking round, it may be the new place is bigger?? i dont know, but zwolle shows i have been to you cant swing a cat in the isles for the amount of people.

Universal Hobbies new releases 2023
Tractorman810 replied to Tractorman810's topic in Universal Hobbies Models
simple way to attempt them to get it right, would be not buying them if they are that bad.sure if sales plummeted they would look into why.i cant say i have seen any real new look 6βs or 7βs down this way properly to have a real good look at, plenty of 5βs mind , from the pics it looks wrong i would agree . prob wont be one for me,as i am trying to keep to stuff i remember now,so not really any later than 2000 , 2005 tops .just dont have the room for it all
