  1. Most of the Valtra machines around these parts are either Metallic Grey or Met Black with one big farm with 9+ Green ones. I know of an Orange one, couple of dark reds and a blue and one white. The point being that as of yet no current model Valtras have been made in the two colours that account for well over 50% of all their sales!!! UH, Wiking Ros etc need to do their homework better. Although I see there is a black G series on its way, I want the grey one
  2. The grounds gone from sodden to frozen around my fenland area..........at least the farmers can travel on it, fields mostly frosty green and crop sprayers are making the most of it before the quagmire returns.
  3. Ive got both the 724 Design and a 720 and do prefer the 720 too........................Only really see 724 and 720s about the place. The 722, 718, 716 are few and far between.
  4. I only just noticed that the Siku T7.315 is based on the forthcoming machine and not the current model. Looking closely the cab is like the T8s and the cab roof and rear fenders all have different style lights. And the bonnet decals are different with no yellow strip, just like the new T8 and T5 machines.
  5. When I first bought this model I did a convo too raise the cab higher above the fenders as per the real tractor, that went quite well but I wasnt ever happy with the rear wheels and tyres as they looked wrong and too wide. So after weeks of indecision and auditioning various donors I came up with this....................finally happy with her now.
  6. Ahh well done Dave, I couldnt have wished for it to go to a better home Ive never been to sentimental with keeping models as my real pleasure is in planning and doing the conversions, big or modest. I usually keep them for a year or more and then sell them and let someone else enjoy them.
  7. Such a shame UH dont have the Valtra T franchise, already theyve made 6 colours available of the G series and no doubt silver and white will be along a little later.
  8. More colours for new Valtra Gs https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fmodelltraktoren.eshop.t-online.de%2Fepages%2FShop43853.sf%2Fde_DE%2F%3FObjectPath%3D%2FShops%2FShop43853%2FProducts%2FUH6294%26fbclid%3DIwAR2whl8lkbthiZtsC8avFVeaMhd9PPppsBxO02lwy9hEKh_mAPdq6wHrwEE&h=AT3WpRoZ702ZVANYz8ClCAt6oBDg3dMealOloiWKrt6W-q-y5rPoUDEaCyir1FsrOwrGmw5BsVoIzwzUcdV6AEKJDAu4Qn3EamJzlHJW3s9bmV3gHKi5Zn_z4CP-fadE9ii3g5Rcx0zunZpZTtjS&__tn__=-UK-R&c[0]=AT30mFrXfgxRZ0V3QeYFrGS2aunlj0Sk59Yxign_YvetaheldyC7k1wrj3Q8piTEcbD_c667W6T90bx7fY-49D0hoFrDTCsisSF7m7bAgjulB_9CX2RZX2NelvRi4WVcYsPuk0cF3HldSEtyzDFqCUdgOv3BtaulJDRvaAfq18Eak4U
  9. Well I was right about getting better prices for older machines.............The 2725E made £157.00 which was a fair reflection of the cost of materials and my time, albeit a labour of love. Hope shes gone to a good home and that the new owner enjoys her as much as I did making the model.
  10. A fiddly job this one, Ive made up a pair of wheel weights for my JD6250R and have glued them too a spare wheel centre dish. Bloomin complicated things I must say. Basically used some unwanted MF7700 weights and filed them down to size and did the rest from their. They need a few coats of yellow spray paint if it ever warms up outside. Doing the job this way allows me to switch from a weighted centre dish back to the nice shiny unweighted version depending on the implement its hitched too.
  11. I wonder if theres a Wiking 8R on the way? If not then there may well be a convo oportunity using the current 7R....................Youll need deep pockets mind
  12. Very pleased with this weathered Amazone 10000ts spreader from Pete Hardy, sits nicely behind my JD 6215R.
  13. The older machines always do well on ebay................My MF 2725E has just entered the bidding war
  14. Thankyou to Joe M. for the new farm telehandler, she will fit in nicely.
  15. I had all sorts of problems recently trying to get on after only a few days away. I ended up having to start afresh with a new username and password and used microsoft edge as internet explorer just would not have it
  16. Ive got one on order from my local MF dealer for £62................I think I can wait a week or two to receive it for a sensible price
  17. Yes they look much nicer, but the model doesnt have that nice nikel collar effect with the studs mounted in it, get the paint out Actually having looked at the UH model the collar with the stud is much wider and shallower than the real version and would look awful if you painted it. Maybe the original prototype was set on specially wide rims that are only available on 800 or 900 tyre specs.
  18. Ive seen quite a few images of the 8S now but none share the same rear wheels as the UH model?? If I were buying one tomorrow I would swap its rears with a set off the UH 7726S model. Maybe make the rear weights removable too. I think you did that recently with one of your other models Paul.
  19. So did you get a loft conversion done Paul? You suddenly seem to have more room to play in
  20. No doubt theres a few ebay buyers who have been mugged by collectors "in the know" selling their JD50s at top dollar
  21. Whilst im still waiting for parts for my Puma 240, I have moved ahead with my third CASE rebuild this time it will be a Maxxum 150. I stripped it down and resprayed CASE red, adusted the floor pan to tilt the cab forwards and switched the wheels and tyres with a Vestrum 130. I will post it all up properly on the tractor conversions when I finish it next weekend.
  22. Another CASE Puma on the go. This time it will be a 240. I was never to keen on the UH long wheelbase Pumas as the bonnet wasnt great and the cab frame is iffy too. Ive made others in the past using a Britains Puma bonnet and the 240s chassis and cab and respraying the red tinwork. So this time to really get it right Im using the more accurate cab and fenders off of the 175 model and extending its chassis too house the Britains bonnet. That should be the best of both worlds, Ive already sprayed the red parts with real CASE paint and decals are on the way.
  23. Its turned out well Paul, and a nice touch with the removable wheel weights...................my problem with the entire Univrsal Hobbies MF7600-7700 UH models is the middle cab post looks too wide! This is because UH in their wisdom decided to detail black etching all around the edge of the cabs glass, spoiled the look of the model for me. However the S style bonnet is very nice
