  1. Hey PR they look much better with some models posed on them, brings them to life so to speak Thats a nice early farm cart, is it the paler blue as per some of the four wheeled wagons?
  2. Yes, Evedale Farm issued in 1978 only. I saw an unused one last Saturday, ?15. Your pre moulded farmhouse etc see my post above
  3. Reversible one issued in 1988 along with a vacuum formed play-base and animals, no.4712. Deleted end of 1990. This one issued as 4721 when it cost 17/2 (86p) and deleted end of 1973 when it cost ?1.15 . As well as the weather vane the little ledge by the hayloft window is also easily damaged, the lugs break off
  4. Okay, 150F Farmyard Display.Containing Shire Horse and Foal, Shepherd with Lamb, Sheep and Lambs, Gander, Donkey and Dogs. Ten components to this set: 506, 507, 594, 536, two 512, 519, 552, 513 and 571. 1955-59.
  5. Bought a 1960 new lines brochure today, thought these would be of interest here
  6. I've seen the wheelwright/smith one before somewhere, not sure where though. Looked a bit home made to me, maybe the signage was added latter. A lot of the early buildings look homemade or even, dare I say it, crude This does give them a sort of naive charm, I think. Are they attributable to any manufacturer?
  7. Were you in the tent? I thought it was an old boy who has since passed away, I'm sure his collection was up for sale a while back.
  8. I have the E1A, would like an E27N but they make to much money There was an industrial major, boxed, at Spalding a couple of years ago, I believe it was only on display though. I have never seen the little fergie before, does it steer? unlike the dexta?
  9. For implements try Toy Tractors From Britains by Peter Baron, this covers 1948 to 1998. ISBN 0 9521078 3 . Other than that you are looking at getting the customer or trade catalogues
  10. Some lovely buildings there Andy. Is the papier mache cottage 1/32? it looks a little bit like the Lilliput ones. Is it about 9" to 9.5" long, 4.5" to 5" wide and 6" tall plus the stubby chimney? Are the windows and doors stickers/decals? It looks like an updated version of 44F with some of the timber framing removed and a hip roof added at the other end, so post war?
  11. I didn't get a reply either, perhaps this person does not speak/read english
  12. I spoke to publisher at Toytrac and was told next issue should be out about the end of november

    JCB.?.?

I reckon no, 1 HP = 750 watts approximately or maybe even exactly! trying to remember (electric)motor control from college, a while ago shall we say Try the maths, 230x0.75 =172.5kw not 230x.046=10Kw ?
  16. I think I saw one of these at the last Sandown Toyfair for ?25. They are all common figures/animals, so personally I think that is far to much, you pays your money you takes your choice If it had been 7580 or 7594 Showjumping game and earlier Showjumping set, respectively, then your ?40-?60 would be a good price
  17. Welcome to the Blue side Mandy , some good pictures. Was it the 5000 you liked or the 1184TW?
  18. Some good pics there Marky. I've never been to that show, the Perkins exhibit looked interesting, very apt/local. Couldn't they afford a shilling for the meter in the large shed? How big was the model of the Muirhill? tyres looked like those normally found wrapped around an ashtray
  19. Okay, this was yesterday , but I thought it might interest some of you....... Artic car transporter with 6 new Subaru Impreza's on it, 3 on the top deck and 3 upside down underneath the top deck, fixed to it, and the legend " the new Subaru Impreza sticks to the road" Anyone else seen it?
  20. I reckon you must have been looking over my shoulder at Toytrac, Powerrabbit, because I bought both of those titles from the same vendor along with a young farmers badge and a case db badge. He showed a 50's/60,s childrens book to a couple, who bought it, I would have otherwise Prices were originally 2'6 and 40p, a bit more now though. I do have another couple of ladybird books along the same vein but cannot remember what they are called, they are in loft, I think
  21. www.britainstoytractors.co.uk not ready yet.........try it and see
