I have one of these, probably produced after the Autoway range had been deleted, using up surplus parts. A favourite Britains past time! See also the yellow/red Bauer tanker, blue( I think) post hole borer with chevron sticker(s) and also yellow roller in standard farm roller box.

Did the National Trust Land rover come with sticker and poster? The MF gift set man has gone for a peek at the 3680! I have a Pine Lodge stable block in a Breyer box, they spent a bit more money on it than just a covering sticker as it has its own Breyer label and bespoke box

Interesting header to leaflet/flyer/poster "Celebrating 100 years of Britains" haven't they left out the word Farm? We had the silver 5610 celebrating Britains centeenery quite a few years back!

E1A Major, linkage in raised position linkage in lowered position Seat in raised/tipped position here, it is used to hold linkage in either raised or lowered position, there is a small pin where the cone suspension rubber goes on a 1:1 tractor seat. Also shown is the top link Method of winding up clockwork spring motor, key is a Meccano one, it fits! Last picture with original box complete with insert and a Chad Valley marked key, albeit the wrong one as it does not fit the square of the axle/motor shaft All the 1/16th ones I have, trying to acquire a boxed Lesney MH from my dad I may have exceeded the picture limit here!

A few of mine, High Major first. This is the early version where the steering works opposite, turning the wheel left makes the front wheels go right!!! This was corrected on later versions when the drag link was relocated to in front of the axle, not got that version yet. Complete with the often missing exhaust and still in her working clothes Ernest Doe sign was found at a toy fair by my dad, I think it may be UH? These were built with a hydraulic top cover but no lift arms/lower links. Difficult to tell but there is a small piece of string attached to the draw bar and tow pin

Instructions/parts list for Nuffield My tractor A comparison against the Chad Valley Majors I don't know what scale they really are, presumably 1/16th and both on 36" wheels/tyres but the Nuffield is a little larger than the Major!

How do they fit and can you lock them in the out/in position? Was that some instructions in an earlier post or a contemporary advert for 1:1 scale? I bought a 1/16th Nuffield Tractor a couple of years ago and to my surprise that came with original instructions/parts list, no box though. Picture(s) to follow, flat battery at moment!

What front grill does it have and is it orange?

Where did you find that one John? It has a nice little label to left front of box, what about on the toy itself?

I have a boxed one of these too, my notes on it end with "Blue, cheap range!" Presumably yours has the mounting holes for roll bar?

Yes they did under Tomy so have all sorts of stuff within besides the Britains Farm range. They appear to be hard to get a hold of though, I have only managed to acquire 2015 and 2016 examples. How big is the tractor wheel wobbler and from what year?

Does it have the long or short "drag link" on the bottom of the steering column that has the wire attached? I see it has the knobbly/gripped steering wheel. Early blue and orange dumpers have long link, knobbly steering wheel and painted skip release lever. Early red ones have a painted tip lever, later self coloured, I have a couple of metallic blue ones both have self coloured levers. These, like the green and darker red ones, only appear in the crane style box AFAIK so later production I believe. I stand to be corrected

A few more bits, in no particular order. A large sticker 24" long by 3" high. This from some time between 1964 and 1979 after which, except for a few Sales Aids, the use of the B with soldier within was discontinued. £2 coin to give an idea of size. This is a paper window frieze and is 12" wide by 11" high. The design is exactly the same as the catalogue and non adhesive sticker, shown earlier, albeit larger A flyer or small poster, a little bit larger than A4. From 1977. The hand was used on the front cover of the trade/customer catalogues and also the card display stands, shown earlier Milkyway advert from Chips comic of 4 April 1987, shown with small pamphlet produced for this promotion.
