  1. No nobble on it! Agree about the silver end of lift lever though
  2. A nice lot there Sean, don't know how I failed to see these as I bought several lots from this seller. These included several of the main frames, with and without wings one of which was in a soft brown plastic, there were no mounting holes for the tines. Some had L and R on the frames but none where marked Britains in any other way. Also included was the middle set of tines in the same red as yours.
  3. My bad, didn't read your post properly (insert smiley with dunce hat on) When you did the exhaust I presume you did the part above the engine support rail
  4. Don't forget to pick out the pulley and guard on the other side too
  5. Is David Leech the chap who put on the Ford Conversions working event a few years ago?
  6. I hope so, but very much doubt it. I'd like one but not going to loose sleep over not having one, especially at that price. The Union Jack ones still command a high ish price, even now
  7. That's a very subtle colour change, mine's not. I've never seen a blue one with the silver decal before now, all mine are painted, the square hole kind of gives it away
  8. Set No.5003. MF 2680 and Accord Drill, one year only as this set in 1989. I suspect only one production run seeing as it is in the 5000 numbering series, which, as far as I know, only appear as bumper value packs. The money isn't so much in the models as in the box! find another
  9. Yellow and white one not Little Farmer but from set no. 42327 Britains Farm Set and included the orange John Deere 5410 and blue/silver fold up cultivator. As you rightly said no Little Farmer decal. My bad!
  10. Liking that James. There are some copies of these out there, well that's what I bought some as. They are identical to the Airfix version but no markings as far as I can remember, but are the Airfix ones marked?
  11. Yellow and white little farmer one yes, you'd covered this one off already so I didn't mention it. Have to find a red and white one for myself!
  12. Blue and white Little Farmer and a green and white one that came with Tampo print decals. as taken from Balers and combines by David Pullen
  13. As far as I'm aware the TS115 was sold as a kit of parts as I bought one, along with a 40 series conversion kit. I think it was from PDC Farm models. I may be wrong but I don't remember Britains ever doing one. A nice looking model though.
  14. I think I've got old, officially! Bought a boxed orange roller at Spalding with red ends, looked in cabinet earlier and already have a set, albeit unboxed and with yellow ends, so not that old!
  15. I have a roller in this colour, not so sure about discs. Another early set with tacks as pins
  16. Is this a tipper, cannot see any tipping gear( mandraulic?) although it looks like it hinges at the back and lands between the two flat uprights at the front, or did they use the same chassis for non tipping version? How does the brake operate? Is it only a parking brake or does it work on the overrun aswell?
  17. I have had a few of these through work, 2 used ones and one brand spanking new with zero miles on the clock, only had this for four weeks before getting my current drive, also new. I never liked any of them as too small to work out of. I went from a vauxhall vivaro to these and didn't like that either, poor steering lock so not very manoeuvrable. Now back with a decent van, Transit Custom high top with plenty of room/manoeuvrability/features. No aircon though Rumour has it that the reason companies went over to these was because Fiat, presumably, offered them to fleet buyers at a very competitive price. I would not buy one either.
  18. They look to be unused shop displays and the card posters, lots of them. There was a card shop display on ebay last week, I think, went for strong money, over a £100. Where was the auction? I've never seen the box set in earlier post either, be interesting to know the set number, possibly one of the 5xxx ones?
  19. I presume you mean the LWB Land Rover? The 135 chassis is more of a grey colour and not at all like the brown of the LR
  20. Well loved/played with toys. The only part of the cattle trailer I have remaining is the chassis. It's, or rather was, a nice model but a bit too flimsy the way the body was attached to the chassis. How on earth did you break the tow hitch and not the body? I have the green tipping trailer with a wire towing eye held on with red tape, must have been like that for about 48/49 years, can't even remember breaking it!
