  1. Couldn't afford a second Britains silage trailer, so I made one out of Lego.
  2. Which one would a 1:1 farmer go for? The 515 has a realistic hitch (German style). The 415 has a Siku compatible hitch.
  3. Cracking model! Better than the 818 in many ways - but not as good as the 515C.
  4. What is being billed as the storm of the Century has just started to blow up here. Due to last until Tuesday. Two extremely Low Pressure storms coming in one behind t'other. I've been pulling everything light into the garage all day - or weighting it down with concrete blocks. Fingers crossed \
  5. Going onto G&M and Farmmodels.co.uk for the first time in a while and realising how much new stuff has come out in recent months :'( :'( :'( So many models - so little money! :(
  6. I reckon the ROS Explorer/R3 Evo/XB Max/Agrofarm 100 would be a very good starting point? Cabs, wheels and chassis look very similiar. Pics courtesy of www.farmmodels.co.uk
  7. Valmet drivers! He used to be okay - when they only bought blue from the other end of the parish. Since they crossed the bridge into pikey heaven things have gone seriously downhill! :'(
  8. Slightly off topic, but what rear tyres are under the 7600 in the first pic?
  9. Unless I'm mistaken, that's the one made from brass. If so, MB Trac made it himself.

    Hymac 580

My first track machine was a Hymac 580 (think it was a C), and the controls were nothing like my second (third, fourth, fifth and sixth) track machines - most of which were Hitachi. The biggest problem I have is that I learned to dig on a Massey 50 and 50B. The boom lift-drop and boom in-out are opposite hands on a Massey than they are on a Hitachi. Just when I get into the zone (go onto auto-pilot) on a track machine I revert to Massey by instinct - which is strange considering I haven't driven a Massey since 1988.
  11. Now that's a compliment GTP!
  12. Blue Steyrs! You can't get sexier! *
  13. ..... or two! We used to run 8 tonners behind Ford 5000s. A 9700 would eat a 14 tonner for breakfast.
  14. With a strap line of "Blues are the best", no wonder it is selling like hot cakes!

    quality kit ;o)

At least the colour is right
  16. I've heard of a TE 20 and an FE 35. What's a TE-40?
  17. I wouldn't be the biggest fan of some of Dave T's interpretations, but this one is the business.
