    Fendt Xylon

Mairead! Unfortunately she's married, and the only other person likely to get a run at her is Bill Clinton (I kid you not!) I had a chat with her one day, while parked in the car park of Bulmers. But that's a whole other story

    Fendt Xylon

When he isn't chatting up Roses, or getting Jenser up the duff, Ray D'Arcy goes hedgecutting with a Xylon.

    what will i buy????

Naturally! ha ha!! You'll be recommending Belarus next!
  4. A 9 inch block falling off a pallet onto my shin from about 4 feet up. Boy did I laugh - NOT! > :'( :'( :'(

    agrotron

I have the AgroXtra 6.07 with front mower, and a double rear wheeled AgroXtra 6.07! I think what the original poster was looking for was something [url=http://www.troisiemepoint.net/article.php?num=1115]like this
  6. Apologies for the rubbish picture, but did you see this baby at Lusk? Super Major with a Scania V8 and a straight thru pipe. Aural Sex!
  7. Back or forward, it doesn't matter. Loader tractors tend to be back - for some reason -

    Massey 5465

    Amen, brother!
  9. More importantly: How come the exhaust is vertical?
  10. As F-P has pointed out, she could easily have had another tonne on board. He was trying to get to the yard before they closed, so he pulled out without topping her up. I was on my way back from meeting SmallClaas and I met him on the road and decided to get some pics. Normally he would have had a 7600 carting, but she had a problem with the pick-up hitch. The funniest thing was seeing the driver of the Claas Ares 610 he had round baling. "he's a bit young" sez I ; "He's thirteen" sez Ray, "but its his second year on the baler". Some things never change! Memories of drawing barley into Danny Nolan's on the Bosheen with a David Brown 1210 when I wasn't a whole lot older!
  11. There is no such thing as a "T8040"! The T8000 thing is a joke perpetrated by an al quaeda loving, freedom hating, marketing w4nk, with a BO problem. The tractor is a TG305! Okay?
  12. The tyres maketh the machine! ps: I like the black and amber sticker on the bonnet!

    Deutz 6.16

Is that the one I was stuck behind, heading East out of Ramsgrange Monday. Turned off left (towards Foulksmills?) after a while. What HP is a 6.16?

    Massey 5465

    Yeah! A 2600 - maybe! A 6810 III 4wd would eat it for breakfast.
  15. It's just a cracked exhaust. (It sounds awesome!!! )
  16. 25 tonnes gross. 9.8 tonnes tare. 15.2 tonnes of barley.
  17. 40k gearboxes will do that. What can I say!
  18. Anyone like to guess the gross and nett weights of this outfit?
  19. I got to drive a 7740SLE today (had only driven SLs before). The first three pics were taken at the gate of the Sugar Beet depot in Wellingtonbridge. NashMach will confirm how steep the hill is. The fourth pic was on the weighbridge at Wallace Agri. Having driven a 4255 and 4355, I can tell you that the 7740 would walk away from them when it comes to pulling.

    what will i buy????

The mouthy ones recommend the Massey. The quiet ones - get on with the job, no need to waffle - recommend the Ford. and as for comparing a 390T to a 7740!!! Maybe, just maybe, a 398T might compare to a 7740, a 390T compares (unfavourably IMHO) to a 6640.
  21. Does anybody have a pic of the CX100 and CX105 side by side?
  22. I think Suir Garages in Waterford have a 7740 4wd with loader on the lot. http://www.suirgarages.com/
  23. .... any truth in the rumour I heard (from a very reliable source!) that you are looking for a 7840SLE to replace it?
  24. Shhhhhhhh! He's from Wexford. To be pitied more than laughed at! (and he looks nothing like a Strawberry!)
  25. The 4355 and 5455 are 4 cylinder models, the 4270 is a 6 cylinder.
