Oliver 60 Also used for display 2 furrow plough The finally, in the barn a reaper/binder. Apparently he also has a threshing machine at his other yard and he cuts a few acres each year with the reaper and then takes the thresher to a show and the old machines do their stuff for the crowds. He has promised that when he is about to cut this year he will give me a ring and I can go and photograph him in action

Then into the shed First up Massey Ferguson 35X Then, parked behind it a Lanz Bulldog. He showed me some before and after pictures of this renovation, it really was a rusting hulk when he got it and this is the result 2 years later Standard Fordson, the bonnet is off being painted at the moment, behind it is a grey Fergie that came from a caravan park in Wales, it still has the original closed pattern tyres which look almost brand new One of two David Browns and the other which he told me was quite rare, sorry can't remember the model number though

  5. Went to my Mother's house today and there was a David Brown 995 parked in a gateway opposite her house so I went across the road and got talking to the farmer, turns out he has a barn full of old restored tractors that he displays........so I got an invite back to his yard and a good look round......I only had my phone with me but pictures are uploading to PB as I type 8) 8) 8)

    SEATBELTS

I will put it on the list for Tuesday when I am next in work along with Simon's request to register an old tractor ;)
  7. Great first post Ruben and welcome to the forum, that layout is going to be huge :of :of
  8. Don't worry Bill my camera might not be the best in the world but it will be working hard all weekend ;) ;)
  9. That's a heck of a tool on the back of the Fendt with the loader, what is it and who is it made by? :of
  10. Love the last one Marcus, it would make a good caption competition ;) ;) ;)
  11. I don't know whether you have picked up on the Spalding topic but we tend to meet up in the pub next to the travel lodge at the Springfields centre on the Saturday evening so come along and introduce yourself but be ready for a bit of banter ;) ;)
  12. He must be expecting plenty of 7810's in stock as he seems to have flooded the recent listings \ \ \ \ \
  13. Simon I will be able to contact the Police liaison office at DVLA and get you a definitive answer but not until next Tuesday if you can wait that long ;)
  14. I hope so Sean, however I also hope the service is a bit better than last year, I waited nearly 2 hours for my meal > Their big gripe last year was that they weren't expecting 30 odd of us to descend on them asking for food and they only had 1 chef on duty
  15. I am counting the days as well and I have also been saving my pennies ;) not as many as I would like but should still be a good day. Marky hasn't posted his usual "day before" topic this time either, is it limited to special invitees :'( :'(

    Weise-Toys 2010

I see there is now a Fendt 612 LSA Kommunal out, I suppose it was only a matter of time \ \ What next Pieper Edition? ;)
  17. I've been to my local Lidl today and they didn't have any of these in :'( :'( :'(
  18. Not seen one of these before, what can the Massey Massive tell me about this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Massey-Ferguson-165-Plastic-kit-OLD-RARE-MUST-SEE_W0QQitemZ220580334203QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN?hash=item335b9cca7b
  19. Just starting to get into the newer Valtras myself but these older ones are really good as well, welcome to the forum Boelie ;)
  20. I see that both the Ford 7810 and the MF 7499 have appeared on a well known web site as "due in". Also on there is the updated Cat Challenger MT765C described as Universal Hobbies \ \ I was under the impression that it was a Norscott model :of
  21. Renault Celtis 456 RX in a dealer box and a Valtra C series in blue
  22. I would also be interested in factory tours to either tractor or plant manufacturers, I know that JCB hold regular tours and they are very accommodating, don't know who else would do it though. Unfortunately I think trips to Beauvais are a bit far for most of us though :'( :'( :'(
  23. Well on the strength of that recommendation I have ordered a copy of this months issue ;) ;)
  24. I saw an article on the Vectis auctions some time ago where they said that farm models were the fastest growing sector of the model market, I have to say that some of the prices that they have been making recently are quite staggering :of
