  1. Not quite straight in front Sean but is this any use
  2. Your local toy shop might hold a stock of Britains but the most reliable place is the on line dealers. One of the other good ones is farm Models http://www.farmmodels.co.uk/ and they are members on here as well
  3. Just to digress slightly for a moment, the Bull Tractor works started in about 1914 but didn't last that long, the works were destroyed in a fire and the company all but disappeared however, the engines were made by a linked company that still exists today.....Toro, (Spanish for bull of course)...who are now one of the world leaders in groundscare and golfing equipment. http://www.toro.com/intl/uk_en/index.html Sorry about that, please feel free to get back on topic now [ [ [
  4. hmmm.... divorce.... no costs too much wouldn't have anything left for models lock her outside.....probably not... will have to let her back in eventually and then still got the same problem, maybe even worse begging and pleading... might have to have a go at that she has already got the same monthly budget for herself that I have for models... her excuse is that she spends it on the house anyway I have now got to tell her that I am bidding on a Wagenhof International and oh boy, that doesn't come cheap [ [ [
  5. I will post in this topic but I am not sure whether this is sad or frustrated or something else. Mrs R went into the loft today and saw just how many boxes there are up there \ \ she has told me I have to either stop buying models or sell some of the ones I have got.......I'm sorry but that is just unthinkable, the question is now.......what do I do??
  6. So will this be your next scratch build then Gav? : If it is then put me down for one ;)
  7. I don't get annoyed very often but Royal Mail have got me good and wound up today > > > I am trying to track a parcel that was posted on 4th January and hasn't arrived yet, the website says it is still in the system somewhere so I am trying to find out when it is likely to be delivered..........I have just spent 15 minutes going through endless menus, press 1 for this, press 2 for that..........and then I get an automated voice that is supposed to be speech recognition.......that can't understand me > > > I just want to speak to a person not a ruddy machine > I still don't know when it is going to be delivered either \ \
  8. I see there is a County in that list.....what chance it will be a variation on the FTF County 944......so just how rare and unusual does that make our model now?? and when will it appear?
  9. OK fair enough Sean, just saw it on Ebay and thought of this thread......not something I would be looking to buy though \ \ \ \ \
  10. how about this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UH-Britains-based-Case-IH-David-Brown-1594-tractor_W0QQitemZ140371452227QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN?hash=item20aeca6143
  11. I wasn't planning on buying any Britains this year after last years dismal showing but I might have to rethink that when I see these in the flesh. \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \
  12. Nice photos, looks a bit cold up there ??? ??? ???
  13. Pre Delivery Inspection, hopefully all vehicles get checked over by the dealer before they are delivered to the customer ;) ;)
  14. Welcome Nick........is it me or do we seem to have a lot of "Nicks" on the forum ;D ;D Hopefully you will soon find your way around and start posting with the rest of us weirdo's ;)
  15. Hmm they are not as sharp as I would have liked and I used super macro as well > I will have another go in daylight tomorrow and see if I can get any better \ \ \ \ \
  16. OK Rick here you go, just let me know if these are OK or you want some others
  17. I can take some for you if you like, do you want them posting or emailing to you? I can easily get it out of the box EDIT I have just realised it is the 514 and not the 822, never mind I have got that one as well
  18. Ros have been steadily improving since they brought out the Fiat 180-90, everything they have done since then has been good, just look at the recent Imber models........designed by Farmmodels but made by Ros :of 8) not to mention the 110-90 they did for Mad for Models. I look forward to the next one with great anticipation ;)
  19. errr the very first post is "links to sites; Models and parts" : :
  20. That is great, I love the backdrops and the way you display your collection. Are the backdrops photos you take yourself or can you buy them? That has really made my mind up that the next model I buy will be the new Weise Deutz with the cab 8) 8)

The thought had occurred to me Sean, but I haven't got the room to store anything that big :'( :'( :'( :'( Mrs R draws the line at 1:32 tractors so I can't see a full sized one appearing any time soon \ \
  22. down at the bottom of the main page you will find a section on "links" http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php/board,70.0.html you will find what you are looking for in there, and probably a few other things as well ;) ;)
  23. After my trip out today, Deutz Agrotron K100 in the dealer box
