Next up my pair of Martyn Reeve Ford 9700 model tractors, both 4wd and 2wd versions. Most definitely favourites of mine, Martyn has made a superb job of constructing these models.

My trip to the Lakeland Show yielded arguably one of my bargains of the year. This lovely chunky and bold Ford TW-20 conversion put together by respected East Yorkshire converter and displayer Roy Leetham. I absolutely love having models such as this in my collection where you just know that plenty of heart and soul has gone into the building of models such as this for others to enjoy, as well as Roy, before he decided to sell it on.

Another miniature TW to join my collection recently was this wonderful TW-15 created by custom builder Paul "PDC" Capon. I definitely wasn't leaving the Lakeland Show without one of these.

Moving manufacturers to another favourite theme of mine gaining plenty of recent attention, my International and Case IH line ups. Starting with my collection of 1455 model tractors.

First up my Q & Q models International 1455 equipped with the older style cab from a Replicagri International. It's a combination that looks really smart but I do appreciate the model requires a new set of decals.

Another Case IH 1455XL to join my collection whilst I was over at Zwolle was this chunky Pieter Dijkstra conversion equipped with a Weise front linkage and wheels from a Universal Hobbies Claas Ares 836. The front wheels are a little tight against the mudguards but I still absolutely love this conversion which i've also added an Imber A- frame to.

Moving down in size to my Replicagri International 844XL and 845XL variations.

Starting with my weathered and converted 2wd 844XL which I purchased from the Agramodellbau.de stand at Zwolle. Really like this conversion which I thought was very reasonabley priced too.

Another series of tractors I always enjoy keeping an eye out for are the A.C.A Chartres Show limited edition models, especially as they fit in really well with some of the line ups i'm endeavouring to add to. Really pleased with the 2wd 845XL.

great to see the collection out for a photo shoot david. some lovely additions there mate. i think you will have a model room to compete with brians soon. ;)

Thanks ever so much Chris. First and foremost it was great to spend some time with Mum, Dad and my brother over Christmas as I don't see them enough as i'd like due to my ever increasing work commitments. I'm certainly very greatful to them for allowing me the space to set up my collection down at their place that also in due course should give me plenty of opportunities to expand my favourite themes. I'm definitely on the look out for some suitable cabinets to add to my "den." :)

Very pertinent you should mention Brian's name as he has contributed to my collection too recently which i'm incredibley appreciative of. I have him to thank for sending me a flat top winged John Deere 4020 to add to my classic John Deere line up. I'm chuffed to bits. :)

Continuing where I left off yesterday with my recently updated International and Case IH collections. I've certainly become addicted to aquiring XL cabbed variations over the course of the past couple of years. Here's my line up of transitional Case IH 956XL models that includes firstly a Stephen Frater 2wd conversion, the F.T.F 4wd edition that now keep my Pieter Dijkstra 4wd conversion company in the cabinet.

Moving onto the more modern examples of Case IH 956XL and 1056XL tractors i've bought recently. Firstly another model from Stephen Frater in the shape of this 2wd 956XL. Never fancied having the standard Britains 2wd 1056XL as i'd never seen a 2wd Case IH variation before which is the main reason why this model now resides in my collection instead.

Turning to a different shade of red and my collection of 3000 series Massey Ferguson tractors which has grown by another two wonderful conversions carried out once again by Paul Capon.

Starting with my 2wd 3095 which Paul built for me on the basis of a photograph I took of the real tractor at York Machinery Sale around 8 years ago.

P1260232_zpsc4093c2a.jpg

P1260233_zps884b854a.jpg

Whilst here's my 3115 Paul built for me that reminds me of a very similar tractor with red front weights I remember working on a farm, not far from where I used to live.

P1260361_zpsff7f6515.jpg

P1260363_zps5c2c8d72.jpg

All lined up together. There has been one omission from this ensemble. I managed to damage my standard Universal Hobbies 3080 when removing it from it's base the last time I was at my Mum and Dad's. Instead of simply fixing it, i've left it with Paul to transform into a 4 cylinder 3070 just like I drove on a friend's farm around 10 years ago. :)

One of my favourite general releases from 2012 just has to be Weise - Toy's efforts at miniaturising the baby Fendt 309 LSA. It now joins my Roel Kuiper 306 LS, Weise - Toys 615 LSA and the huge Schuco 626 LSA in my classic line up of Fendt model tractors.

Moving onto another favourite line up of mine that has a little recently. My green and black articulated Steigers.

Starting with the "big daddy!" My N.F.T.S Steiger Tiger KP-525. Which is currently one of the largest and heaviest 1/32nd scale model tractors I have in my collection.

Whilst here's my Cougar KM-280, a Prestige model from Ertl / Britains. I'll admit i'm not a huge fan of the Prestige range. The majority i've seen designated "Prestige" are not much more than standard models that cost nearly twice the price. The only reason this model is here is purely to fill a gap in this particular line up.

The final theme to gain some attention whilst I was at my Mum and Dad's was my small fleet of classic John Deeres. As i've already mentioned i'm espceially greatful to Brian ( Mr Softie ) for sending me this next model to complete my line up of John Deere 4020 model tractors. Thank you ever so much Brian. :)

....and last but very not least until I return to my parents one of my favourites, my light as a feather Miniagripassion 4440 HFWD. Make no mistake these models are delicate, but equally they're put together very well and having seen some rather poorly finished examples ( in terms of paint finish ) a year previous over in Holland, this one is spot on.

Packed the way I bought mine in partly assembled form like this, there's very little concern in my eyes over breakages. It was held in it's wooden box very securely indeed. Just a shame that when putting it together it would i've got the pre cleaner and exhaust the wrong way around. Doh!

After seeing this I had to go and have a look in my cabinet at my MAP John Deere 4240S as I know I had assembled the exhaust nearest to the cab and the air intake further away. It would seem that I got it right as on the real deal it is that way round
