robl12
Today whilst I was travelling on the back road between rothienorman and huntly I spotted a Black Claas tractor think it was an Arion. Does anyone know anything about it or has anyone seen one like it before?

Powerstarâ„¢
Maybe it belongs to a company that have Balck Fendts, and they colour matched the Claas aswell. Special order, like Sean suggested.

Smithy140
perhaps the owner decided they wanted it in different livery. i saw a MX135 a couple of years ago in fendt livery

nashmach
I think Rickerby's had a Batman theme at their open days recently - I wonder is this connected to it?
ertlerik
There used to be a Black Case 1490 around here in the 1980's, very sharp looking tractor, i am not sure if that was some sort of anniversary model or a custom deal. Erik.
Tractorman810
nothing listed on claas uk, ,usally something like that if say aniversary edition or something gets plastered all over the place

Just seen this topic, I have not seen this tractor, but have heard of it, I was told it is an Axion and the guy who bought it had it painted black for some reason The person who told me about it had seen it not long after being painted and it had no decals on it, don't know if there will be or not. It had nothing to do with the company I work for so I don't know anymore than this.
robl12
Thanks Brian. The only badge on it is a claas badge on the front grille. There is not even a dealers sticker thought it may have been sellars seeing as to where I saw it but suppose it could have been Bruce farm machinery Was hauling a Herbst lowloader when I saw it. MODELFARMER
Ye know what'd be funnay A contractor buys a class forage harvester Being the Jaguar, in black, then sightings of it could be reported in the press as a big black cat in the grass fields Make a change from a panther or a puma sightings ha ha And yes i do know a jag cat is not black Ok so i'm on my own on this one? toyboy
well i have spotted this tractor so at least i can confirm that robl12 has not gone mad :D. spotted it heading into thainstone mart on saturday afternoon towing the same herbest lowloader that you seen it with rob , i just saw it at the other side of the roundabout but i think i would agree with brianih that its an axion as i rekon it was to big to be an arion . so who will be the next northeaster to spot this big black beast
