What's the worst thing you've done with the windows shut and radio blaring out?

Just a bit of fun really, as the title says really  :P

Come on don't be shy

Mine would be last summer at work, had 100 odd bales to stack and had to fetch them about half a mile to where they were going to be stacked. Finished the yard jobs at 12ish, boss says he's off baling and will I take the other forklift and go stack these bales, but be back for 3 to milk. So I finish loading the muck and jump onto other forklift, find the field and start to stack these bales. Check the fuel gauge, it's on red, que one very embarrassing phone call to the boss who laughs and tells me to drive the 5 miles back to the farm and fill up. That was one worrying trip :-\ at least I made it :P

Now your turn ladies and gents

oh, and the first time i picked up round bale of straw, i well destroyed it...... ;)

i've done that a few times not enough net and short straw is the main problem with

It must be something to do with straw then  ;)

mine were hay actually i think its just stuff that can be baled

another thing for this was when baling some hay the first time round the field i didn't hear the beep so made a 7 ft bale by accident that then didn't want to come out of the baler

i only did it cos we do every thing in hesstons, but this year my dad wanted it baled and round was the only available, with hesstons i pick them up on the go if you know what i mean, but i soon found out it dosent work with round  ::)

It does work with rounds if you're carefull, been doing it that way for the past 3 years and not had a single split bale ;)

Does reversing my Lexion 460 into a Claas Dominator while removing the header count..........the idiot parked in the blind spot where I couldn't see him in the mirrors, even my boss blamed him for it ::)

Must be a big blid spot to engulf a dommy :P

Lexion needed a new straw chopper hood and rotor carriage, damage on the Dominator was minimal. Anyone who's driven a combine will tell you that there is a massive blind spot behind it and just to the side of them when you have no camera fitted.

A lad who worked for a local contractor was baling with a big square baler and because the control box beeps every time it knots they ignore them but.............................it hadn't knotted and he turned round to go back down the field and there was a bale the length of the field. As for me i was playing with the radio on the JCB and drove in to the back of the hay rake whilst going round which my dad was using i wasnt very populare for a while!!!!!!!!

well mine is a pretty boring one compared to this lot... but I was grass cutting this year with my 5480 and flail mower.... doing a 10-11 acre field I do regularly... I'd cut the first strip along the edges, dodging the tree branches and making the usual wavy line of cut in doing so... on my second run I was determined to get a straight line to work from for the rest of the field.. I picked my point in the hedge at the other end of the field and went for it... bugger me this is going to be good I was saying to myself.. hardly an input needed on the steering wheel... dead eyed-**** they will be calling me I thought... just before the end I went to click the lift button.. only to find it still in up  :-[ .. I looked behind me only to find I'd not actually lowered the mower to cut  :-[
