PDC Tractor Conversions Past and Present - A Pictorial Database.

The Tractor Twitcher

Recommended Posts

I've been thinking about doing this for while and thought this would be the best place on the forum to post this pictorial thread. I've been collecting Paul's very fine conversions for the last three years and now have fifteen of them residing in my cabinets and hope to add many more in the future. If anyone else has photographs of any other tractors Paul has converted in their collections then by all means add your photographs to this topic.

I have got a couple of Paul's masterpieces, this is one of my favourites though (although I might be slightly colour biased)

They look some really nice tractors I really like the Massey Ferguson 6170 and 6465.

I've really enjoyed building up my collection of Massey Ferguson models and Paul's conversions currently account for around a third of that particular theme. I'd dearly love to add to my 6100 series and 3000 series themes with a few more of Paul's models.

Thanks Barry, very pleased with all the models i've bought from Paul and long may the fascination with them continue. I've now one or two other ideas lined up for Paul to contemplate in the future. Watch this space. The TS110 was the first model I purchased from Paul at Spalding in 2009, a lovely model that looks a treat on those Britains tyres. There was no way I was leaving Spalding this year without one of his 8340 conversions, it's absolutely fantastic, and like the TS110 is representative of real tractors my Uncle has used in the past on his farm. :)

Very nice model and great to see something that bit different in 1/32nd scale. This would be my choice for an older Same model if Paul was to ever contemplate building any further examples......

my pdc's so far; tm155[the same as davids] and a siku john deere 6930 conversion. i was never happy with the scale of my wiking deere 6930, so when i saw pauls deere at spalding i thought it looked more the part for my collection. i then got 7530 decals from convo and rebaged the wiking. now they look as they should if the real machines were stood together.schuco deere covo is on order from paul, and will hopefully arrive in the next month or so.post-3323-0-75946800-1336083389_thumb.jppost-3323-0-34604900-1336083425_thumb.jppost-3323-0-65378400-1336083467_thumb.jppost-3323-0-01198700-1336083507_thumb.jp

Thanks to "The Book of Face" here's a few more of Paul's past creations starting very appropriately with the first model tractor he converted. A Britains Case IH Maxxum 135 all dressed up in McCormick clothing:

Lastly a pair of MB - Trac conversions starting with this Siku derived 800 in the earlier colour scheme and equipped with Britains wheels.
