Do you mean this one Shaun which was sold as an individual item 9599 and was out from 1996  to 2003

9605 was out from 1989 to 1995 so was it maybe a case of Britains using up the old white tanker in a set before moving to the silver and blue one

Yes kitchen roll basically a barrier between the model and the inserts Shaun...not too bothered with heat since all in Tuff Crates are in loft but the hatch is always open to let some heat up and take the chill off the loft....maybe that is why my gas bills are high

Loving it, thank you. I take it you do a bit of 'wheeler dealing' so to speak or do you only buy to keep? I'm amazed that the collection is so wide from animals right up to Powerfarm and all these fantastic gift sets.

I seem to recall, from the mists of time, that the last version of the man carrying a sack originally had two with one under his arm. I have never come across one with two sacks though so maybe a figment of my imagination  ::)

I reckon that the far right tractor driver is a repaint, he looks much better than the two in grey or blue suits. Its a bit of a strange pose though with his hand in his pocket................perhaps he's reaching for his mobile phone  ;)

Herald Tractor Drivers,Different Colours.

I've never seen the third one, and even Jonathan Stephens doesn't mention it in his study of this figure.

Is it a repaint, of actually made of light brown plastic? If so, it must be mega rare, and I'm sure JS would like to be told of it.

@ super6/Paul: This figure was first made in 1961, so he wouldn't be reaching for a moblie phone. Baccy pouch more likely.
