Pingu
Looks interesting, sad that deutz fahr never went through with the baler but krone looks liike they are doing a self propelled round baler and square baler
Tractorman810
often wondered how long it would be before someone came up with the idea of the baler straght on the rear of the combine, prob no good for the edges, but we used to shred them, but for the middel runs, the then surely it saves a bit of time
NewHolland2
I think the Deutz-Fahr was on the go a few years ago but it didn't really take off so they scrapped the idea......I think that's right as I'm sure I've seen mention of that in one of my books...... \ :)

MODELFARMER
combine idea . .. . baler couldn't bale fast enough staw wouldn't ne ready unless is was burned off and was whistle dry, otherwise the bales would heatand straw would be wasted
Pingu
there isnt a baler on the market that can keep up with the likes of most rotaries especially lexion 580 and NH 980 ( JD 9880 it could as with the amount it looses over the back needs to go over the land twice :D ) and especially the claas 600 who could keep up with that
Deere-est
Look who made the Buhlerbaler .. . ..Fry Brothers!!! Better phone my brother and see if he knows anything because I certainly don't remember making that with him when we were younger!!
schw84
theres no way a baler could keep up with a rotary going flat out unless the straw was realy short stalks? if the amount of straw isnt very great then you can go allot faster. also would you want to be driving the combine with the baler behind its bad enough trying to concerntate on one machine let alone 2 also balers are prone to catching fire your likely to lose your combine too

sparrow legs
rotary combines are no good for straw any way, it smashes it up too much, ya much better with a large straw walker combine if ya want to make good bales.
Pingu
The lexion 570 and 480 are supposed to be ok as talking to a bloke last summer he said for rotary he said they were the best
