tabmodels
I built this for my Dad's xmas present. This is a model of his Ford 5000 fitted with a Hydrocut Mk4 hedge cutter from around 1972. Only one picture of this outfit existed so I worked from that. Converted from a Britains Ford 5000, the front wheel axle stubs were chopped and the wheels painted Ford grey. Front wheels were glued back on to the axle to eliminate the loose movement. Rounded mudguards were added along with a scratch built canvas cab. Cab is fully glazed with the canvas part being made of paper card and painted matt green. Canvas side windows are made from seal grip bag clear plastic to give it the plastic window characteristic. Operator control levers and gear levers were also added. Front grill re-detailed and vintage reg plate made. Fully scratch built Hydrocut hedge cutter features a saw blade head which slides off and can be replaced with a flail.

SPN
Superb. My all time favourite tractor. The 6600-FOUR mentioned in a previous post replaced a round wing 6Y 5000. The Lambourn cab is a gem as well.
