b_emmons
would be pleased to have input from more experienced Collectors/carpet farmers and real farmers on which trailers, ploughs or equipment would suit each class of tractor
CX820Joe
you've got some nice stuff there - I have a soft spot for Siku kit but don't have as much now. I have a couple of McCormicks which I have put different decals on and a few implements. I have found their standard has slipped a little with the most recent releases. I really looked forward to the Manitou but was underwhelmed and the Fastrac 4220 looks like one of their releases from the earlier days! The Case Magnum they made was a real beauty too. Of your tractors, I reckon your Xerion has enough grunt for a big cultivator like the Replicagri Kockerling 620 or the UK Horsch Tiger Cultivator/drill. Its a great looking beast of a tractor.

I have also noticed the quality of Siku has gone down recently, so mainly try to collect their older stuff, and slowly swapping tractors to Wiking and UH as I only have a limited budget to work with. The Siku Manitou is better in hand than the photo's make out and the step/steering controller is not that bad and works fine, and the jib has a good range of movements with enough resistance to easily stay in position. The only poor parts to look at if the safety cage/lack of paint on the cab upper glazing and the split running whole top length of the boom could have had a more positive/closer fit. Will also make it some hub detail Compared to the Britians JCB 550 the Manitou is a 100% better the JCB has no steering and suspension and boom fails to hold up in air unless 2-3 inches up, and not talking scale inches The JCB is already in the to sell box even though it is brand new and been out the box once Have to admit that Britians have some good detail but not impressed with the build or quality of materials now used compared to 30+ years ago. I like the Xerion and have found the Wiking tractors are quite robust and easy to play/pose and even the adapter works well, and if that's not big enough to cope then I don't think the T9 will do much better I have seen photo's of a Xerion pulling the Amazone 6000 Have a Wiese Xerion saddle trac on order so will see how that compares to the Wiking models, but have heard Wieses couplings can be a challenge to use in some posts? Due to liking the Wiking 5000 I brought the Arion to go with it and extreamly pleased with both models, so will add a few Wiking trailers when funds allow, and maybe a Wiking Valtra T series don't think I own enough Valtra's yet
