I've measured the wheels as best I can, measurements as follows, measurements are firstly the rim, and then the whole wheel:

550-80 2.1cm/4.5cm

542-70 2.2cm/4.0cm

TM420 2.1cm/4.3cm

I hope the measurements help, not sure whether the tyres can be swapped between any of them though?

Cheers Joe, worth buying a 550 and having a go......will wait for a second hand one to pop up on eBay (missed out on one a few days ago....forgot about it finishing!!)

One of these arrived this morning, first impressions are.....wow, what a model, looks so much better on these tyres than the previous model, this is a casting I would be happy for them to exploit with all manor of variations they could think of!!!!

10/10 would recommend........think i'll buy a few more too

Now do the same model with front mudguards on it!!

They were the skinny ones Paul , looked naff...……………………...These wheels weren't available until the side stack 55 series machines got released in the early 90s,  so even though schuco fitted them on the 4850 they certainly weren't available back in the 80s when the 4650/ 4850 were in production...…………...but other than me who cares:D

Have to agree, it's a cracker, managed the time to get one out tonight, just missing the front mud guards as you say and part of me would like more lenses for lights instead of painted on. The interior detail is very good indeed. Me too, happy for Schuco to milk the casting for other versions!

I have emailed the seller to ask if he has got postal insurance or if it can be replaced so I will see what he says. I have tried to glue the exhaust back into place but it looks awful

I've managed to unpack the Commandor and have a look at it today.  It's not a bad model, seems quite light, especially compared to my other combine, the Deutz C9206.   It's not as well detailed as the Lexion, and I'm not so keen on the front wheels, but I think it's worth the price I paid.  I've seen the general release 116 for as much as 145 quid, I wouldn't say its worth that.  The connections between the grain tank lids are quite poor and need reattaching fairly regularly though.

I’ve been looking for one of these for a while now. I’m very pleased with it other than a missing beacon and a part I can’t find a spot for that was floating in the box.

Does anyone else with one of these Cougars have an idea?

Must be, that’s good I suppose. I have a new set of beacons on the way and then it will be sorted.

I have this model, I’ve had a good look and can confirm you have a loose part from another model in the box.

Hmmm, not one of those shows the header in a raised position or the grain lids up or the rear wheels in a turned position??   And it should be a darker red, but maybe its just the lighting, hence my request of pictures that someone has taken having bought one to see if my concerns are unfounded:D

Here’s a few of mine mate, pics to correspond with your questions. No opening lid. I love the model.56F9F878-FC9F-41F6-BBD3-2E7E8B11DE05.thumb.jpeg.81b05d321cb35f22a0bcc8b54ec98324.jpegAFCCD9E2-A477-4F5D-A31C-9EA55EFDFE6A.thumb.jpeg.d416a1953f51c418e8113347b9464eee.jpeg8E93D9B7-6950-4E34-AFC3-5975D6E45F6F.thumb.jpeg.74345a0f25b3544d076edcd49ce9bb17.jpeg
