Moving the parsnip grader around at the site its kept at this morning before going and getting a load out this afternoon. We were lifting them yesterday as well except they were for stockfeed as we have more than the market demands at the moment and the field needs clearing.

I made more progress on me drive after next door holding me back with the party wall act and surveyers!! Now as that has cost me an extra £3000 to have them in and put a retaining wall down one side I'm having to dig it out by hand meself. Been using a grab lorry to come and take it away then shovelling it to the front so he can do another load!! This was yesterday after the second load

And this is after a hard days digging for me as I'm a A/C engineer.

And yes that is my gas pipe which was nearly cut by the grabber, because it seems to have been layed high until about 3 ft from the front then stoops down to catch the mains in the road. So were I dug to find it it was miles down so I told him its fine pick it all up then luckily he spotted it!! Still the digging goes on!!

We started lambing on Thursday and was asked by James (stabliofarmer) for some pics so I took a few this morning.

First a few from the shed. We like to lamb outside but with the bad weather yesterday we brought the mule ewes inside.post-4142-0-27690100-1427623778_thumb.jppost-4142-0-37036700-1427623837_thumb.jppost-4142-0-90850400-1427623894_thumb.jppost-4142-0-82706100-1427623955_thumb.jppost-4142-0-50697800-1427624010_thumb.jppost-4142-0-60315500-1427624084_thumb.jppost-4142-0-52572900-1427624144_thumb.jppost-4142-0-68521900-1427624232_thumb.jp

Yesterday was a cracking day here, nice and warm sunshine, blackbird sat at the top of a tree singing his head off so taking advantage of this nice day I planted my spuds in the garden and tilled a row of peas, going to be another such day today but it was quite white with frost first thing.
